You have to love the idea that the person who was just outed as being a liar is discrediting anything; especially when it's done nothing of the sort. This is a bit like watching a fish out of water slowly die on the shore.

I wonder about this last sentence. It seems that with the Dominion lawsuit it has become something of the tail wagging the dog. Fox wanted to back away from the story but they felt they couldn't for fear of losing viewers.

Yeah, I think the GOP and right wing media are terrified of the monster they've created. I think they were hoping that after Trump's loss this would start to fade away. They don't realize the problem: Trump isn't the monster, he's not the disease. He's the symptom. The monster is the people. The angry mob of fascists they've spun up aren't going away.
I see what you mean but the viewers they were afraid of losing were already being led by FOX down a rabbit hole of lies and misrepresentations on a multitude of topics with no consequences. What is different is that harming a corporation with lies is illegal but misinforming and indoctrinating viewers with lies is not. That is hardly and excuse for doing what they did anyway though.
That's the oldest trick in the book. If the most evil people can convince everybody that everybody is evil then it makes them look more normal.
