Let me ask a very simple question. Can a person be mad at something they don't believe in? Mad at god? Nope, I just came to my senses in about fifth grade when JFKwas killed sitting in fifth grade of catholic school on that fateful day. I just stopped believing the stories because I didn't see any of them as being true, at all. An all powerful invisible being with crazy outrageous powers that loves us all even though we seem to hate one another. Yeah, I believe that. Shouldn't everyone believe in invisible all powerful entities?

The one positive thing about your public self-outing for "finding the guy with the biggest arm and laying into" our defenseless minor aged school children is that it serves as a 'Public Service Announcement' which helps us help to identify the misguided adults who desire to use barbaric and archaic wooden devices designed to inflict mental and physical abuse upon our children, grand children, and great-grand children, and rid our public, tax-funded schools of those who wish to advocate for such perversions to be perpetrated upon our defenseless children who deserve to be, and feel, safe and protected from bullies and child abusers while attending our public schools.

most of us know logic's MO, basically repeating some kind of accusation that has been thoroughly discussed, and then repeat

nobody here is advocating beating up defenseless little children.

there is a time and place for various means of punishment to help direct a child's behavior, which is quite acceptable. parental discipline will vary by temperament of the child and parent, location and religion.

so far he has not offered his philosophy and method of child discipline and he may not even have one. that being the case, i supply a Biblical method of discipline for the children best i know.

"Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a boy, But the rod of discipline will remove it far from him." Proverbs 22:15

Does that mean we should take an actual rod and beat our children into submission? Of course not, because along with such advice comes the buffering with love that goes along with that discipline...

"Whoever holds back his rod hates his son, But the one who loves him disciplines him diligently." Proverbs 13:24

Discipline that is rigid or harsh with no sense of love is an abuse of parental authority and can crush a child’s spirit...

"You fathers, do not be exasperating your children, so that they do not become downhearted." Colossians 3:21

thanks Daisy, i have printed these verses for him many times.

he is very good at using the Bible when he wants to; his secret is that he doesn't believe it, but likes to use it as a weapon.

i have long asked him what his philosophy of Discipline was and he consistently declines to give one, preferring to attack mine over and over.


maybe he is getting tired of chasing Daisy around the forum, and has found some fresh meat.
