Freudian slip or Fuher slip? How stupid can any candidate for any office use the word "Reich"? He is the world's most dangerous man.

I hate Trump, but he never said the word.

I think a staffer shared a video in which the word reich briefly appeared in tiny letters near the bottom and Trump retweeted.

I wouldn't normally give Trump a pass, but I think this is nothing sinister at all.

It wasn't a slip, it was on purpose and he didn't immediately take it down.

Just another wink to the neo nazis and white supremacists.

Trump, and his inner circle jerk, have totally misread the breadth and depth of their support in the country. It is a natural shortcoming of cave dwellers, breathing their own Methane for too long. When all of your "nutrition" comes from licking guano off the grotto walls, it leads to a mineral deficiency resulting in severe political myopia. The reason the Republican Party isn't willing to describe any future for Americans to believe in is because, unlike the Democrats, they have no vision that extends all the way to the horizon. All they can see is the end of thier own nose. That's the biggest reason for Congressional paralysis. They can't get anything done because they don't know what to do.

As with every other presidential election in the last 30+ years, the profit driven corporate main stream media will keep selling the public the idea that this race is close . . . even though it isn't. Political campaigns pump billions into corporate MSM coffers in presidential election years, because a close race = more $ to the parties = more media advertising $.

The MSM isn't "left wing". The MSM is corporate, and the only ideology it serves is the bottom line. It has no obligation to tell the truth to the American public. It's only obligation is fiduciary - i.e. to its shareholders. So the news, as in real news, is nothing but a loss leader in the broadcast industry, including internet advertising. They make more money manipulating public perception into believing the race is closer than it really is. What it really is is ... Trump loses.

The polls might always be closer - within the infamous "margin of error" - but the way the polling questions are structured, sequenced, the demographics of those polled, and the final "interpretation" of those results, will always make for the appearance of a closer race than reality.

And the reality is - Trump loses .... bigly!

I really don't think so. The writing is tiny, blurred to the point of almost unreadable, and only visible for a couple of seconds. It's just copy text from Wikipedia.

That makes me feel better.

It is interesting how you can blithely state "Trump loses bigly" when the polls says otherwise. But that is how the Progressives want to see the future albeit in a Pollyanish vein. What else do they have except their TDS?
A closer race than reality? Where is your reality?
It is a 'confirmation bias' you rely on when we're more that five month from November.

The thing with Trump and the campaign is they've been carefully using dog whistles to that extremist element they need for support. How unintentional it was is always the question.

Well, he didn't use the word Reich. But this is yet another example of how easily the far-right have been able to use his ignorance and psychological weaknesses in order to inject themselves into the mainstream. He legitimizes them with his fool speeches, his idiot comments, and his abnormal behavior; and so much of MAGA has long starved to expose who they truly are.

As always, the idiot simply reposts anything that makes him feel good about himself without actually scrutinizing what he is reposting. It's why it was also deleted after the world brought attention to it. And, yes, he has absolutely proven to harbor great affection and jealousy for history's strongmen, going back to Mussolini and Hitler. Were they here today, he would replace his devotion to Putin with them.

But the Reich post? If Trump came across a picture of himself in a Superman costume, he and his loyalists would repost it in a heartbeat without noticing the dildo in the background.

Again, this November is about America versus MAGA.

Trump actually admits that only he and Dan Scavino have access to his account.

Nice of you to encapsulate and highlight how totally you missed the point of my post.

TDS is Trump's own psychopathology. He is the only one who puts himself front and center into the news stream on a daily basis. His opposition is not an initiation - only an appropriate response.
A closer race than reality? Where is your reality?
I described it.

How can that be? By your own observation, the only ones with confirmation bias have to be the ones who buy into the polling results. My views are not confirmed by any premature polling results, thus no confirmation bias.

You don't seem to know what you're talking about. Perhaps if you rethink your post ....... or think at all. That might be enough.

Why would you give him a pass when it was posted? Do you remember the juxtaposition between "...fine people..." and "Jews will not replace us"?

How about immigrants and vermin? The Nazi is strong in the orange one.

Yep, we heard the same when he posted a tweet of a white supremacist saluting him like he was Hitler. Their rhetoric is he's stupid, not racist. Well, if you're repeatedly that stupid, might as well be racist then.

He didn't post it, he retweeted it. I doubt he knew the word reich appeared as it was almost impossible to make the word out watching the video.

I tend to agree with this assessment.

But OTOH you should also never underestimate the idiocy of the American electorate.

If I had to make a bet....I'd bet you're correct. There is no way that very many intelligent people are listening to Crooked Donnies BS daily and saying "Gosh yes." I just cant see that happening. Lots of folks arent "intelligent people" though, so we'll see what happens.

I don't use nor support Twitter, including using their terminology.

It makes not one iota of difference.

What? Another Trump circle jerk thread? You mean haven't had one in the last hour?

These Libs must really be worried about November. The bigger lead Trump has in the polls the more their TDS flares up. It must be terrible for them to have their lives shattered by one man they have never met and don't even know. But that's the price you pay now days to be a Liberal.

I told you Trump was a Nazi.

This is just more evidence of that.

Ivanna once told the press that Trump kept a book of Hitler quotes by his bed.

I essentially agree - but I don't see anything the Donald has said, tweeted, or done in the past 3+ years to have earned him even one more vote than he got in 2020. To the contrary, he is words and actions have continued to alienate him to millions more of the electorate, ever since his 2020 loss. While Biden may not be carrying high approval ratings in the polls, none of that translates to so much as a single vote more in Trump's column.

Trump, in my worst case scenario, might be capable of carrying 64 or 65 million in the popular vote - and that with a stiff wind behind him. Even on a blizzard day in the northeast, Biden is likely to pull at least 10 million more again, not necessarily for him, so much as against Trump. That's twice the disparity in the popular vote as in Trump's 2020 loss. I don't see the unrepentant convicted criminal recidivist financial fraudster making the next inauguration for POTUS.
