Trump's Tariff Deal save face for their failure? Or is he the fireman that started a fire so he could come to the rescue.

There should be a comparison of each alleged tariff "deal" that Trump makes and with the tariffs that were in place before he took office to see if the new "deals" are any better or just a way for him to save face for his failed "Liberation Day" tariffs. The world is a bigger bully than Trump and he got stung by the rest of the world and the financial market melt down to his incompetent poor judgement. He wasn't even short-sighted, much less long sighted. He was no-sighted with his trial & error governance at everybody else's expense. Not the mark of a president of the USA, much less an individual that pretends to "run the world". Egos don't make a leader.

Your 2sence just don't make sense when measured against reality.

Don't worry, there are plenty of people...especially Trump haters...who will be comparing before and after. Whether the result is considered better or not is, frankly, a matter of biased opinion. What matters is whether the two parties to the deal are satisfied.

Your "save face" consideration simply doesn't match reality. Trump isn't about saving face. He's about America First.

Trump didn't "get stung" by anyone yet...especially not by the stock market. Trump really doesn't care what gamblers do when they succumb to panic and fear.

In any case, you are welcome to your opinion...no matter how wrong you are.

If Trump haters are the only ones willing to expose him for what he is then at least they don't have they head in the political sand out of fear of admitting they wasted their votes on a charlatan.

Trumps tariffs were nothing more than an insideous tax increase by another name to bypass the will of the Congress and the people under the guise of "making America rich" and cheat everybody who voted for him expecting him to not raise taxes.

Notice how the failure of his tariffs have suddenly made him willing to raise taxes on the rich like Harris promised. Trumps mind is an open joke. He'll only raise taxes on the rich if his failed tariffs can't "tax" everybody else.

The financial market meltdown in response to Trumps incompetent liberation day tariffs definitely was a major cause of his backpedaling and defeat. Both the stock & bond market were on the way to shutting down the econoimy like a pandemic called "Liberation Day" The financial markets are far more than a gambling venue. They are an investment, saving, retirement, and source of capital, and the lifeblood of business, the economy, and modern society that no longer independently live off their own land, garden & livestock.

Wise up and see the light. You can't rationalize Trump's incompetent irrational behavior for ever to justify your vote. The wrighting was on the wall long before his absurd debate performance ranting, raving & spreading false propaganda about migrants eating cats & dogs and his phony "concepts of a plan" like a child that didn't do his homework but want to "run the world. The guy's a bloviating con man and a convicted criminal with delusions of grandeur. He cancelled many of Bidens executive orders out of selfish vengeance for being prosecuted with little consideration of their benefits to the health and sustainability of people, the envirenment, and the future.
