The Middle East is again on the brink of a "great war". It is all about the fact that the United States intends to "pacify" Iran.
Despite Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's official visit to Sochi that Washington "fundamentally does not want" the war, America continues to worsen the situation.
The main inspirer of the military operation against Iran is Trump's national security advisor, John Bolton. However, Bolton brought an interesting clarification. He believes that all forces of the Shiite militia in Syria and Iraq, as well as the Hussite rebels of Yemen, are pro-Iranian and that their attack will be considered an aggression by the Islamic Republic.
Despite Washington's peaceful declarations, the situation is worsening in the Middle East. The aircraft carrier strike group headed by aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln has taken a position in the Persian Gulf. The military planes of the Qatar B-52 strategic bomber have been deployed at Qatar's military aerodromes. All support staff of diplomatic missions were recalled from Iraq. In eastern Syria, additional military contingents and equipment arrived at Ain al-Asad Air Base.
In turn, the closest ally of the United States - Britain sent its special forces into the Persian Gulf. It was responsible for overseeing Iranian military activities near Kesham Island, home to major Iranian naval forces.
In addition, Saudi Arabia has announced that it is ready to provide its troops. One of the reasons for Riyadh's adoption of the decision was a diversion into the United Arab Emirates port, which resulted in four tankers taking fire, as well as a Hussite drone attack on two oil pumping stations. The Saudis accuse Tehran of these incidents.
Military experts say Riyad is trying to influence the United States to launch a bomb attack on the Islamic Republic. It is quite possible that Israel will join this confrontation.
However, China has unexpectedly defended Iran. Beijing said it "supports Tehran's efforts to protect its interests". That is, the heavenly empire has made it clear that it will not allow the interruption of the supply of Iranian oil to its country.
Analysts believe that today the US war with Iran will be a political failure of Donald Trump. Local clashes will only provide the United States with problems, unnecessary burdens on the budget. According to Robert Oprisco, an American expert in international relations, the United States does not need war because the Iraqi syndrome is still present in American society: "That's not why they left Iraq partially withdrawing their troops from Syria to return to the Middle East to unleash a new war. In addition, more than 70 former US servicemen have signed a letter to US President Donald Trump asking him to avoid the US war against Iran in the context of a sharp increase in tension between the two countries. The former army called on the US president to take steps to defuse tensions between Iran and the United States. The letter stresses that the actions taken by both parties are a matter of "extreme concern" and that, to protect the interests of the United States, the former military urges Trump to apply diplomacy.
However, there are people around Trump who do not want to sit down at the negotiating table to "solve the problem peacefully". Although the American people understand everything and ask to act more peacefully.
Thus, despite all the contradictions that have arisen between the United States and Iran, it is necessary to find a peaceful solution to the conflict. As historical experience shows, a military clash had never resulted in a winning result for either party.
