Trump's phone call with the GA SOS about finding votes to overturn the election

What do you think of Trump's phone call to the GA SOS?

  • Last straw, I'm changing my support from Trump to Biden

    Votes: 0 0.0%

  • Total voters
    97
  • Poll closed .
Audio of the entire phone call is available and that excerpt is being presented sans context.

The tape is the context. It is not selectively edited. The whole call has been released.

An off-the-cuff comment may need 'context' but an hour long conversation is pretty self-explanatory.

Audio of the entire phone call is available and that excerpt is being presented sans context. Much like most of the other controversies regarding Trump, this one has been made up and promoted by the propagandists in the media.

For what it's worth, Trump rambled on for more than half an hour about how votes were manufactured and manipulated. He cited scenarios that accounted for far more than the 12,000 vote differential and then told Rafensberger that he didn't need to find all the fraud, he just had to look at the evidence and that would be enough to come up with enough to flip the vote. Rafensberger claimed that Trump was just plain wrong in his interpretation of the "fraud" and then decided to release a selectively edited version of the audio to the propaganda media. Trump never asked anyone to do anything illegal or even anything improper but, once again, the faction that hates Trump and hates half of America can't resist spreading disinformation for the sake of their own political gain.
Proof?

Good lord, you followers will believe anything to continue to deify The Donald, an incompetent narcissist with only his own best interests in mind. It's unbelievable and yet we've seen it over and over for 4 yrs.

People wonder how smart sophisticated Germans turned into little Nazis. Read this post and realize that this type of thinking is exactly how propaganda turns otherwise normal people into good little Nazis. Unbelievable.
And here's at least one complete admission...or should I say, "submission?":

Democracy is bad form of government. If we could lose democracy and get Trump as a ruler, that would be positively wonderful. Sadly it won't happen.

Re: the phone call. I do agree that the phone call was cherry picked to convey an anti-Trump narrative by Raffensperger and camp.

No, I don't believe everything. I certainly don't believe what you're attempting to sell either.

This is the dilemma we have...there are accusations and attestations to various forms of fraud and/or abuse but those attestations have been dismissed by the people tasked with investigating them. Without an investigation there will never be acceptance of the results.
OK, so then, after all this:

~60 FAILED legal challenges and The Donald-appointed DHS head of cyber security and AG Barr claim no widespread evidence of fraud? And why did so many Republican governors, secretaries of state, and election officials agree? And why so many federal judges appointed by The Donald, including 3 on SCOTUS, not buy into it either? And again...why no Senate hearings or investigations into the election?

Who would you trust to investigate and adjudicate the election results?

LOL, you did not have to post that...there was no question of that for you, if I'd bothered to wonder.

Trump has the world's biggest inferiority complex. His feelings of perpetual victimhood and his subconscious feelings of inadequacy are precisely what his most ardent supporters identify with the most.

When JFK warned that Americans were becoming soft, he was right, and 50 years later those soft Americans were Trump supporters.
In the transcripts of the call, he refers to Raffsb. 'losing respect' and 'people laughing behind your back,' projecting his biggest fears. 😄

This is bullshit. First of all, Trump interrupted Raffensperger several times and brought up lots of different things, asked multiple questions, and when the SoSGa responded with a specific answer for at least one, the dead voting one, telling him specifically that his numbers were wrong, they investigated and found only two examples of dead people voting, Trump insisted the SoSGa and his people must be wrong because Trump's people said differently. Then SoSGa pointed out that the video that Trump brought up at least twice was also not as Trump was describing it, that they investigated that and found no issue there either. Each time SoSGa tried to point one of these things out, Trump either brushed it off, claimed Trump's own people were right and SoSGa wrong, or that it was illegal for him to certify the election with known (not true) voter fraud.

I listened to the whole thing and what they were asking for was ridiculous or already done. They were told this, and even the ones a little more reasonable than Trump was being on his side acted stupid. They wanted privacy information and couldn't understand why they weren't able to get access to it "why can't you just deputize some of our people?" or Trump with "they can sign an NDA". Neither of those things are good enough to overcome privacy laws. That is not how the law works. You don't just get to work around it like that to get access to voter information simply because you refuse to believe those who have already looked into it.
The excuses of Georgia are bogus.

The votes were counted 3 times, including once by hand, and suits were rejected by a county Superior Court and the Georgia Supreme Court. What would it take to convince you Biden took Georgia?
I have no idea how these people can walk upright without falling down. There seems to be serious brain deficiencies

LOL, you did not have to post that...there was no question of that for you, if I'd bothered to wonder.

When you say this, "Good lord, you followers will believe anything to continue to deify The Donald", you invite all replies from Trump voters. I don't believe Trump when he said he won... Far from it.

Don't like my reply about what you write, then try to stop dipping the broad brush into the inkwell.

Why do you continually and knowingly spread lies?

Agnes and James are two different names

Apparently they ask to see Georgia's supporting data and were denied. So Raffensperger expected to be just believed without presenting anything, after that lame vote he conducted on 3 Nov without checking signatures.
They were denied because of the privacy laws, as he pointed out. They can't just violate the laws simply because some candidates don't want to believe officials actually performing the investigations. Don't like it? Sue for that info. It is currently protected by privacy laws.

Do you want Democrats to be able to see your private information, including various last addresses you have maintained and when you last lived where you are currently living?

Cool. So then after this (previously posted):

Wrong... 😄 No worries though, it’s a full time job keeping up with all the slap downs..

Do you believe that there were widespread vote and election frauds in GA, enough to turn the state to a Trump win?

Did you listen to the whole hour tape or just the 4 minute one that's being pimped in the press?

Trump very clearly expresses concern about all kinds of irregularities and suggests that if they are investigated that there will be far more than 12k fraudulent votes found. That's all he's asking Raffensberger to do, just investigate.

Sure, Trump might be misinformed with his "evidence". It might be that there are no irregularities whatsoever but when you have Trump saying that there are garbage votes inn the count and Raffansperger saying that they were all counted and the counts came up the same you've got the Sec State responding to an assertion that is different than what Trump was talking about. It's like going to the mechanic and saying, "I'm hearing a rattle when I get up to 45" and the mechanic replying that he checked the washer fluid and it's fine.
There is this list to help you. I realize that it's from CNN but since you listened to 'the whole thing,' you'll know that the quotes from The Donald are valid, right?

Let me know which ones you dispute (and many have links to the sources that dispute or disprove his claims)

And here's at least one complete admission...or should I say, "submission?":

The right loves to worship a leader with absolute power, it reminds them of God.

Do you believe that there were widespread vote and election frauds in GA, enough to turn the state to a Trump win?

Come on, we know what they really believe..

Right now, as I type, I see a live TV broadcast of the Georgia Voting System Implementation Manager, Gabriel Sterling. Oh my, he comes off as extremely competent! He debunked dozens upon dozens of accusations of voter fraud and vote count manipulation. He encouraged Georgia voters to fearlessly come out and vote tomorrow.

It seems you were only following Trump if you believe Biden did not campaign.

I noticed both candidates campaigned. They just did it in different ways.
It's a very common 'idea' among The Donald's followers that the fact that really stupid people turned out in thousands, in an epidemic, in the freezing cold and rain, and screamed for him, that it means he had the votes. Now I know where they got that idea:

1. "We won very substantially in Georgia. You even see it by rally size, frankly. We'd be getting 25-30,000 people a rally and the competition would get less than 100 people."
Well, I'm convinced! Trump has always been entirely convinced that having large rallies = winning. Of course, even if Trump had 30,000 people at a rally, that's roughly .6% of the 4.9 million votes cast in Georgia this fall. Math! And away we go!

There's a thread here on it somewhere, this stupid phenomenon that people believe Biden didnt campaign and that screaming fools that already had their minds made up for THe Donald made the difference in an election for a president that was NEVER popular and didnt poll above the 30-40% range...even in conservative-sponsored polls

Don't forget that Sterling is a life-long Republican and voted for Trump.

You do know that this symbol: ~ means "approximately", right?
