I don’t know where you’re getting your stats; but that’s horse ****. And you have to have deeply tinted rose colored glasses on to believe the rest of that nonsense.

"Nearly broke" is relative here: he still had something like a hundred million squirreled away somewhere. To someone who is used to a net worth of 2-3 bn, they'll describe having a "mere" hundred million as "nearly broke." I've known folks like him personally, and they love making that move.
 
Best thing about Trump, he's hurting the people who voted for him by helping those who they thought they were voting against.

Translation: Stupid is as stupid does, and stupid is voting for a known con artist with 6 bankruptcies. It really does not get more stupid than that.
