As expected, Trump's blog failed biggly. The only think that is more hilarious than Trump's attempt to still stay relevant in the msm is chief Trump buttkisser Jason Miller's lame excuse for its abysmal following.

I'm actually buoyed by this. Maybe it means the insanity is less entrenched than we thought...

I am curious what you guys are referring to. Is there an article?

Trump could maintain this. He really likes tweeting/bloggin. Trump can afford this. Trump could have someone else do the whole thing and it would cost him nothing.

They're reeling him in. The mental deterioration is to the point where employing him is abusing someone.

Thing is, afaIct, it was doing just fine.
esp considering how new it was, it was reasonably ranked.

Was it just Trump's ego couldn't handle the criticism of the blog not being able to cash the check Trump's mouth wrote?

Did the writing in the blogosphere get into Trump's head?

idk

It is. Votes, polls, show trump's support isn't that high and falling among his only support, Republicans. Re-elected Republicans in Congress got an average of 5% more votes than trump. His strength is coming from Republican politicians who think they're in danger if they turn on him. If that keeps up through 2024, it will help Democrats a lot.

Trump is a child in a geriatric body. He can't stand criticism, or humiliation, his ego is enormous, his skin paper thin, and he has no patience or attention span. This was inevitable.

sure.
I suspect as much.

But the world is weird and the world is wide.
There've been times I was surprised.

Do we know if there was an official reason given?

I wonder if his trying to have rallies again will draw few people.

Why do you want to hear the BS they put out? The lies I heard were that this was planned as an 'interim' activity while he transitions his social media planning.

Same reason I come to DP and read the posts of Trumpco customers...

Me too! It put back a bit of my faith in humanity.

My guess is it's not near as much fun to run your mouth when you're not the president and really can't change anything. At some point you just come off as being a whiny ex-president with no say in anything.

I don't see any benefit to finding out how they lied to spin the shutdown. I can link you to a list of 20,000 lies from trump in office if you like.

He still has the link to contribute money on his website, of course.

You must not know Trump that well if you think he has the capacity to appreciate that he comes off as whiny, or that he cares if he has nothing to say.
