Have you thought through what this will look like?

The world knows what happened on Jan 6th.
The world knows he tried to steal the last election in Georgia and other places.
Trump’s early priority will be to make the DOJ drop the criminal cases against him.
How does America hold its head up when a criminal political leader takes power and dumps the criminal charges against him, like a third world thug?

Then he plans to get rid of a great number of government workers, the so-called ‘deep state.
That will, of course, have a significant negative impact on our economy.
He plans to deport millions of immigrants. Same result.
Then he plans to introduce tariffs on everything, which will raise prices.
Which will also have a significant negative impact on our economy.
Somewhere in there where will pardon various criminals who did his bidding.
Then he will play much golf, of course.
He will lie a lot along the way.
The damage will be great.
If he lives that long, he will try to stay in office at the end of his term. We all understand that now.

Just heard an election specialist who has predicted 8 of the last 10 elections say no way Biden should drop out. To do so would lead to a massive defeat. I don't know if I agree but this guy has a great reputation and his reasons were sound. I don't share your opinion that the election is at this point a foregone conclusion, no. They are neck and neck in polls, and hav been for quite some time. I hold out hope that enough women will vote against losing their rights, that enough trumpers will come to their senses, and that Trump gets desperate enough to show his true colors sufficiently such that enough people see him for what he is.

I trust Americans to protect what so many have worked so hard for. It's worth protecting, in my view.

Trump is morally and ethically reprehensible, and is of such poor character that I believe enough Americans will vote to keep him from power.

A bunch of Trumpers were mislead into storming the capitol to prevent the election results from being certified. They were threatening to kill the VP, members of congress and capitol police. I watched it all on live TV.

I wonder how the trumpers see thia playing out. Trump is largely loathed by a majority of Americans. Even if he manage sot seize power again, he will near ever get the respect and adoration he believes he is due.

He will remain an angry and bitter old man to the end, taking down as many decent Americans as he can in the process.
