Maybe it was at the course where he had a fake memorial placed to commemorate a civil war battle that never happened.

His defense to historians who said that nothing of the sort occurred there: "How would they know that? Were they there?"

What a putz. Everything about him is a lie. This is how desperate the right-wing is for a hero. They invent one out of a complete loser who mocks them daily and begs them for their pocket change.

Just an absolute lack of respect for truth. No integrity and no honor. He is as shallow as they come. The man's entire playbook is built around using lies to create illusions of himself. From planting exaggerated stories of his scandals in the Enquirer in order to cover up the actual facts of the scandals, to boldly lying about how big his crowds are at his pep rallies, there is just nothing real about him. A man like this just has to hate himself that he is constantly trying to promote a false image.

And I would argue that this fake Civil War commemoration has something to do with his status as a draft-dodger. A way of telling people that he honors those that Serve. More lies to cover up who he really is.
