CNN poll: Trump address to Congress gets modestly positive marks, changes few minds | CNN Politics

The Republican-heavy audience that tuned in to hear President Donald Trump’s speech on Tuesday greeted it with tempered positivity, according to a CNN Poll conducted by SSRS.

It looks like the greater point is that people who disapprove of Trump are unlikely to watch the speech at all, creating self selection bias in the poll.

The correct question is how could you include those who did not watch
However it is normal that there is a majority of people watching who are predisposed to have a favorable opinion

But if you are taking a poll on what people thought of the speech, there is no reason to include people who didnt watch.

It also makes sense to weight respondents by affiliation, which wasn’t done.

Yes. And you are enjoying the consequences of going with Biden/Harris. You should be mad at the administration and the press for lying to you about Bidens condition. Had they been honest, you could have had an actual primary and a better candidate. But you libs dont really care that much about honesty

An inanimate object is far more suited than Trump. Trump does irrevocable damage, whereas an inanimate object does nothing.

It should be noted, though, that Trump is the culmination of 50+ years of right-wing ideology. He didn't fall out of a coconut tree, he's just the bookend of a movement. They chose him because he's most suited to enact the existing agenda.
 
There's a function that I need to go to in about a month and some of my family members, think paradoxical Mycroft and fletch, are going to be there. I don't even really want to see their faces since they caused this mess.

But if they start in on politics I'm not holding back. And I'm going to say all of it in front of their kids. So their kids will know that their own parents screwed them.

II am responding to your posts, so if you dont like what is being said, you only have yourself to blame. But it does seem as if you libs no longer accept any disagreement with your positions on any issue. So someone rejecting what you say is insulting to you. Again, that is on you, not me.

Trump hit a grand-slam last night and it has the board Stalinists more unhinged than usual. They are watching their power crumble to dust. In 2021, Joe Biden had a literal police state in place - now, today they can't even embezzle funds from USAID. The decline of the left has been meteoric.
