Do you live anywhere on the Gulf of America? And the world starts to laugh at us again…
Do you live anywhere on the Gulf of America? And the world starts to laugh at us again…
They called themselves "the people". They learned how to live and prosper in the land's harsh climate. They created art, music, dance, stories and a culture of infinite patience for the land, the weather the animals and each other. For thousands of years they existed together without destroying the land or the resource or each other. They called their big mountain Denali. The Russians came. They enslaved and they killed the people and the sea otters, until the people were beaten and the sea otters were gone. They called their mountain Bulshaia Gora. We bought land, called it an "ice box", called the people unforgivable names sold them alcohol. Called them drunks, irresponsible parents, took their children away and put them in orphanages. We dug up their land, spoiled their streams, polluted their water, spilled their oil, fished out their oceans and called them lazy and stupid. We re-named their mountain, McKinley. Why do so many people have a problem understanding how power works? The Peak once was named something else, Denali. The region was acquired by the U.S. and as the saying goes, to the victor go the spoils. The victors get to write the histories. This constant switching is silly. I love how sports handles this sometimes. It would be McKinley field in Denali stadium, of vice versa. There is always a way to make most happy, it's generally referred to compromise. Maybe McKinling Peak on Mt. Denali?
Welcome to insanityAlready on day 1 The President is tackling the big issues that affect millions of hard working americans who sruggle to make ends meet in the Biden economy.
This is a great idea but I think that his natural modesty is holding him back rom taking the action that most Americans want.
Mount Trump sounds far better than Mckinley and would drag millions of citizens to the park to frolic in the snow and pay homage.
I understand that some eskimo woman is objecting to this. She needs to be gagged and bound and dumped in Greenland. Mizursky or something.
That kind of muddled thinking has led to the Biden decline and held back the golden age. Its time to stamp out dissent.
You say you did, but you didn’t. And continue to say you did, without saying it.
Cute move, I guess.
You know damn well we're just gonna change it back. That mountain has been known as Mount McKinley for more than a hundred years until some bleeding heart liberals decided to rename it.
It is only right and proper that it revert back to its original name.

Sure. By now it's probably automated. As soon as the winner is announced, they fire up the printers. It's a new sideshow. It might have a good run, changing names back and forth.
Weird, because I’ve asked you to clarify your point, since I’m unsure what it is, and you’re had ten posts telling me everything except what it is.But you strongly imply you know what my point was.
Regardless, I'm willing to help you if you need further clarification as soon as you admit you don't know my point.

Odd behavior if your trying to communicate something clearly.
not to mention the centuries before when the locals called it DenaliThat mountain has been known as Mount McKinley for more than a hundred years
strange that the State was governed by a Republican when the state itself (not Washington DC) already renamed it, 40 years before Washington followed suit-until some bleeding heart liberals decided to rename it.
........which would be Denali. It is only right and proper that it revert back to its original name.
When a turncoat Republican governor there asked for it (Denali) to be returned to its original name. When did Alaska become a state of bleeding heart liberals
To hell with indigenous people. This is AmericaAlready on day 1 The President is tackling the big issues that affect millions of hard working americans who sruggle to make ends meet in the Biden economy.

Heck, eggs as such (never mind their price) dropped.Price of eggs dropped 45% the second he made the announcement.
Hoser-shire?Since we'll already be making a few changes to the map, perhaps it's a good time to finally rename Canada. Any suggestions?
I propose that the Rocky Mountains be renamed after their original purpose.I demand JFK airport get it's real name back...Idlewild Airport. As a matter of fact, everything named in honor of a Democrat should be renamed. After all, the Democratic Party is the party of slavery.
Wet.What do you call the largest of the Great Lakes?
Yeah, but Trump survived an assassination attempt while McKinley didn't.Trump fantasizes that he is modeling his second term after McKinley. The trouble is that McKinley was a real man and Trump is a cartoon character.
They need to get out of the way and adapt to the new reality. Otherwise the impregnated blankets will have to come back.To hell with indigenous people. This is America
This will surely lower the price of eggs.
That's #3. Eggs, gas, Canadian bacon. But what about the price Canadian bacon produced by our 51st state?
I get it- you don’t want to explain your point.I can't help you unless you're more specific about what is confusing you. Maybe if you copy and paste my posts, you can highlight the part that has you baffled.
