You simply cannot discount the possibility that's its right wing agitators. Its just a documented fact that they infiltrated the BLM protests to cause violence and undermine support for the innocent victims of police violence. this is a typical fascist tactic.
MINNEAPOLIS – A Texas man pleaded guilty today to a federal riot charge in connection to the 2020 civil unrest, announced Acting U.S. Attorney W. Anders Folk.
According to court documents, Ivan Hunter, 24, admitted to traveling from San Antonio, Texas to Minneapolis with the intent to participate in a riot. Hunter is a self-described member of the Boogaloo Bois, a loosely connected group of individuals who espouse violent anti-government sentiments. The term “Boogaloo” itself references an impending second civil war in the United States and is associated with violent uprisings against the government.
Trump called out the NG on BLM protesters in Lafayette Sq and again now in LA but he allowed his supporters to storm the Capitol unimpeded , hurt police and endanger the lives of those inside. That is the point. Not the riots and protest themselves but what Trump will stop with force and what he will allow to happen. Think about it....There's a flip side to that. All the Democrat politicians and left leaning media who were hysterically lamenting about the Jan 6 protests making comparisons to Pearl Harbor and the Civil War and claiming it was an insurrection and attempt to over throw our government now and during the Goerge Floyd protests sit idly by and even lend their support to rioters and looters.
It would seem the only time the Left cares about law and order when it comes to violent protests are when they are carried out by their political opposition.

We have the beginnings of the Summer of Love 2025 in LA. It is not okay to attack ICE officers doing their job, vandalize property, attempt to breach federal buildings, slash tires and burn cars. This needs to be stopped immediately.

Oh the irony.....No, the point is you and every other leftist supports bringing down the hammer on protests by your political opposition yet turns a blind eye to violent protests from your own side.
For Ice to remove anybody they need a court order.Los Angeles has thousands of immigrant day-workers that keep the state of California one of the largest economies in the country, and in some cases in the world. My son had a landscaping business in L.A. and when he had a big contract, he went right to Home Depot to quickly hire immigrants waiting for a day job. This is where the protests began after seven or more immigrants at Home Depot were taken by ICE. Does anyone know if these men had committed any crime before they were kidnapped? Did they all receive a hearing in front of a judge before they were snatched? These immigrants are paying taxes, and they are not eligible for social benefits such as healthcare, Medicaid or food stamps and if anyone tells you they are, they're a liar. They are more law-abiding than many citizens because they don't want to lose their jobs, their homes and their families by committing any crimes and being deported.

The plan is to escalate, to provoke, to be as confrontational as possible, to excuse the coming violence. Trump and his minions are already dividing law enforcement between loyalists and law abiders. They'll attempt the same with the military. This order was based on what Trump literally claims is "rebellion". Any resistance to unlawful ICE activity is now deemed "rebellion", including protest. This is full-blown fascism - not "semi-authoritarianism".

To the extent that protests or acts of violence directly inhibit the execution of the laws, they constitute a form of rebellion against the authority of the Government of the United States.
In light of these incidents and credible threats of continued violence, by the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby call into Federal service members and units of the National Guard under 10 U.S.C. 12406 to temporarily protect ICE and other United States Government personnel who are performing Federal functions, including the enforcement of Federal law, and to protect Federal property, at locations where protests against these functions are occurring or are likely to occur based on current threat assessments and planned operations."
