Trump says Mexico's president has 'agreed to stop' illegal migrants crossing into America

He promised Hilary would be in jail...that was 2016. Trump supporters never learn.

One really has to wonder how empty the life of an average Trump supporter is when this sort of stuff pacifies them.

As I said before, that doesn't mean Mexico has no leverage, and I suspect what we will begin to see is Mexico begin to look for ways to distance itself from the US over time. For now, however, Mexico and Canada are America's bitch. That fate was sealed back in the early-1990s. That can change over time, of course.

That is actually right. Mexico has no leverage to withhold tomatoes from the US market. It is a faliciy that some here think.

Bs. Plenty of other countries to sell tomatoes to. Mexico gave Trump the finger before, and they are giving Trump the finger once again. Read up on the subject and learn.

I love the fact that Trump honestly thinks he can make stuff reality just by making a declaration.

Everything good that happens is going to be due to him from now on and you have people who will defend this madness.

My point exactly. Mexico will reload and not skip a beat. Americans, especially the low enders are going to pay a heavy price. MAGA simply put is too stupid to understand the deleterious effects of trade wars. The Smoot-Hawley Tariff act signed by Hoover in 1930 made a hurting economy far worse. Remember, Trump is the dumbest president we've ever had. Look at all these assclowns that are in his new cabinet.

That was Canada's response last time. We joined the Asia-Pacific alliance that was formed after Trump bailed on the TTP.
