Anyone still think he is going to reduce inflation "starting day one"? It looks to me like he doesn't care about inflation at all.

A car is one of the most expensive items people buy with the average new car price around $48k. Adding $12k to the sticker price is something consumers will care about, even if Donald doesn't.

These tariffs won't last no matter how much liberal bedwetters want to squawk about it.

In the meantime, buying a nice used car/truck from a reputable seller is often a better choice due to the lower taxation, registration fees, and insurance.

Perhaps you've been at sea too long and don't understand how capitalism works. The price of used cars will also be going up, not least because car parts are included in the tariffs.

So a Chinese alternator for a 2012 Ford F-250 SD now at $311.00 will increase up to $388.

The Motorcraft is $380 right now

That's ($77 increase) equal to a family of 4 treat at McDonalds. Or a night out at the show. 🤷‍♂️

Motorcraft parts are manufactured globally from materials sourced globally. Those prices are going up also 😂😂😂

And threre is no indication at this time American car makers are planning to pass the cost to consumers.

And a company like Ford who manufactures 80% of their vehicles in the US they wil fare well.
