Former President Donald Trump said he returned to his Florida home late Sunday to find Mar-a-Lago “ransacked” and accused FBI agents of traipsing through his bedroom without removing their shoes when they raided his ritzy resort home last month.

“Arrived in Florida last night and had a long and detailed chance to check out the scene of yet another government ’crime,’ the FBI’s Raid and Break-In of my home, Mar-a-Lago. I guess they don’t think there is a Fourth Amendment anymore, and to them, there isn’t,” the 45th president wrote Monday on his Truth Social media platform.

“In any event, after what they have done, the place will never be the same. It was ’ransacked,’and in far different condition than the way I left it. Many Agents – And they didn’t even take off their shoes in my bedroom. Nice!!!” he continued.

Does his BR have a Jap decor? The only time I recall having to remove my shoes before entering was before touring a Jap chemical plant. And that's tradition. I don't think DJT has much care about tradition. And how could he tell?

Many countries remove shoes at the front door. Trump's concern is presumably expensive flooring. It's an attempt to appear nonchalant.

Well, why were they there and whose fault was that, Mr. T?

Were you thinking of your carpets when you had those boxes brought home, and then lied to the courts about them?

This reminds me of the least funny bit from Dave Chappelle's Charlie Murphy/Rick James sketches, where he intentionally ruins Eddie Murphy's couch and they beat him up over it.

The difference is that In this case Trump wants us to believe the FBI is running wild like Rick James, and that's a tough sell when you have a reputation like Donald Trump's.

The reality is more like the FBI raided Rick James' house, and now he's shrieking on the news about how they knocked over his cocaine caddy.
