Trump pits ‘HOTTEST’ Sydney Sweeney against ‘No longer hot’ Taylor Swift in anti-woke American Eagle rant

Provocative advertisements sell products. Lily white blond skinny girl declaring she has "good jeans" is provocative and meant to stir up the public. Looks like it paid off. Are you suggesting we should all be deaf to the obvious dog whistle?

I didn't hear the whistle. They tell me that they are only audible to certain people.

Doesn't look like there's much chance of that happening. Just continuing to reward such behavior, I suppose. And even participate with equivalent behavior, in many cases.
Not quite equivalent, as there is only one president.

Of course he has no thought for anything beyond the superficial, especially since Taylor Swift is in actuality ALL the things Trump wants us to believe about him.
True, and it appears her partner enjoys spending time with her. Where is Melania these days?

Not quite equivalent, as there is only one president.

True. I guess that means the president is accepted as their leader, for everyone who gets down in the muck with him. I bet he finds it rewarding he has so many followers on both sides.

Every ****ing day he has to be such a creepy weirdo loser.

Can you imagine supporting this guy? Really? This ****in weirdo is the savior that will improve your lives? Yikes.

There is a difference between getting down in the muck with him and pointing out that he is in the muck.

"Look! There's a piece of shit in the muck!"

Kinda like that?

Too late. It's all over the place
Who spread it outside of a failing right whing site?

Who started this thread to spread info from that stupid, small, failing site?

Ohh... that figures.

No, more like "the president of the United States loves playing in the muck"

That doesn't refute what I said. It doesn't even address it, as far as I can see.

Didn't Trump post this on Truth Social? Nobody reads Trump's posts? That's interesting. But when he acts like a flaming jackass and attacks citizens (Taylor Swift is a citizen) it's worth pointing out.

I'm sure it would be easier for Trump supporters to not have to come face to face with his behavior.

My response was directly in answer to what you said, and you can see it as a refutation or not...

So is someone who says "Look there's a piece of shit in the muck" playing in the muck or just observing the muck?

He really leaves no stone unturned in his efforts to divide us, doe he?

So this was his main concern at 8 this morning.

So glad we don't have rising food prices, allies that now hate us or Russia murdering innocent people in Europe to worry about.

I will say that I either REALLY don't understand this "topic..."

Or possibly I understand it TOO well, and it's just a handful of progs getting upset over the "jeans\genes" thing.

I mean, sure it's there if you want to get offended, I suppose.

Back in the early 90's Maybelline cosmetics had an ad that went "Maybe she's born with it... ...maybe it's Maybelline."

That's functionally the same statement. I do think that some folks are a bit too sensitive, but even so that's pretty small potatoes.

But what makes it worth my time is how the Trump herd seized on that minor "outrage" and blew it up into a distraction of the day.

Probably better than a young woman detailing how Trump sexually abused her, or set her up to be abused by others.

My point is that it is entirely possible to point out that someone is playing in the muck without necessarily calling that someone a piece of shit.

That occurs frequently. Also frequently both sides dive in.

Another point is that when Donald is posting he is ALWAYS playing in the muck. What does that make him?

And whoever responds in the same vein, is playing in the muck then. Both sides. Following the lead of Trump.

I don't accept categorical claims as a general rule.

Yes. And people from both sides are attracted to these things like moths to a flame.
We're not talking about people from both sides. We're talking about your President. He's the one who said he hates Taylor Swift. Your President. He hates a singer.
Does he make you hate Taylor Swift too? That's what he wants, that's why he said that.

I mean representatives from both sides jump right into such frays.

I'm not sure about good or bad. Trolls are certainly a thing. ( I believe you were correct when characterizing it as such.) It's a thing I don't tend to get worked up about, though I do like pointing out false narratives when they inevitably arise.
True, you certainly do appear to be drawn to his stupid statement like a moth to a flame.

Remember that @RF667799 is not permitted to disagree with Donald Trump, especially in public. If Donald says that someone is hot and somebody else is horrible, @RF667799 has no choice but to take that at face value. At best, he might attempt a deflection, or avoid the subject, but he's not certainly not going to cross Donald.
