Trump Launches War On Iran

Interestingly, this strike came as a surprise to everyone due to the amazing lack of leaks of the operation to the press.

This was probably because Trump chose not to notify Democrat leadership and fired all of the top Pentagon Biden appointees.

Israel is a client. A bad one. But ally? No. Australia is an ally. England is an ally, probably to its own detriment. Canada used to be, until the moron ****ed about. Japan and South Korea are allies. But Israel? No. That country is the analog of a wanton, selfish teenaged dependent convinced of his own power because his parents won't send him to bed without dinner, but instead keep buying him the most expensive toys.
Indeed; an 'ally' which steals military secrets and sells them on to an enemy, in this case China, brags about you being easily manipulated and spies on you (Jonathan Pollard), is the sort of 'ally' I could happily do without.

Sadly, Trump has been a disaster. I really thought he had learned something, and had the spine to broker peace in Ukraine and draw the line against Israeli militancy. Instead he's another Biden, a slobbering slave to Netanyahu, and a man void of middle class interests. Even his tax bill is a farce, with the federal government still latched on to the wages of single middle class taxpayers like a blood sucking parasite while billionaires are rewarded. I lean conservative but there's no way i can defend him. Weve had two monsters in succession for presidents that act without congressional oversight, and are bent on destroying the nation through fiscal ruin and violent conflict. We cant afford Trump. He needs to be impeached and replaced. He doesn't represent American interests whatsoever

Trump is incapable of learning, and why? Because in his mush-brained opinion he knows everything already-as he tells us at every opportunity. Anything and everything he does is geared toward either enriching him personally, or having his fragile ego massaged. He really is that much of a simpleton.

President Biden would have never bombed Iran just to do Netanyahu's bidding. No way - no how. For one thing, what the U.S. has done will be condemned by the United Nations. The U.S. violated international law.

Iran's Foreign Minister just held a press conference in Turkey. He was asked this question:

"What would be the conditions after responding for Iran to come back to the negotiation table?"

Abbas Araghchi:
"I think it is irrelevant to ask Iran to return to diplomacy because we were in the middle of diplomacy. We were in the middle of talks with the United States when Israelis blew it up. And again, we were in the middle of talks and negotiations with Europeans, happened only two days ago in Geneva, when this time, Americans decided to blow it up. So, we were in diplomacy, but we were attacked militarily. So, it was not Iran, but the U.S., that betrayed diplomacy. They betrayed negotiations when, at the middle of negotiations with us, they gave green light to Israelis, if not instructed them, to attack nuclear facilities. I think they have proved they are not men of diplomacy, and they only understand the language of threat and force."

I hate even thinking this, but this is shaping up to be the scenario that experts have warned us about for decades.

Of course it's a violation, but so was what Biden did, supplying bombs to a rogue nation that murdered
women and children by the tens of thousands. No, there's no excuse for either of them. We need a complete overhaul of the federal government, and get rid of the executive order business and "military actions." It's either war or it isn't.

Did anybody notice how Trump pulled this stunt on a Saturday, so he wouldn't have to watch the stock market make a dizzying descent and upset his elite money grubbing backers??

I've long said Congress needs to take back a lot of the power they ceded to the President back and there needs to be a lot more control and checks in the system to prevent the President from acting unilaterally. Particularly when it comes to waging war and getting us in conflicts.

The whole nation-buiding thing Bush did was the reason I left the GOP. And now we're here with Trump pulling the same bullshit

Dems would have done the same thing. The control over them both goes deeper than partisanship.

Let's get back on topic, shall we? We're currently facing what could be a very long, and very costly war with Iran, and any nations that side with Iran. It's anyone's guess what will happen in the upcoming days and months, but Iran has two options. Acquiesce and make an agreement for ceasefire with Israel, or choose to escalate this fight and strike back at Israel, U.S. military bases, and blockading the Straits of Hormuz.

Hopefully the 2028 election is like 2008. The GOP needs to be thrown out of power in a landslide fashion. Unfortunately, since partisan politics and political divisions are at an all time high, that probably won't happen. But I think the Dems have a very good chance at retaking congress, then eventually the White House, in the next couple of elections.
Between Bondi and Trump free and fair elections are a thing of the past. Bondi and Trump will never allow a free and fair election post 2024.

These dreamtime posts that NEED to believe in the voting in '26, the election of '28, then voting in 2030 and 2032 FAIL to take Bondi and Trump into account. The deaf dumb and blind dreamers FAIL to recognize what Trump is doing now, is on track to do the rest of this year and to do next year. Trump and MAGAs are never going to surrender power -- or accept opposition in any form. NEVER. They have power and authority and they are going to keep it. Don't we know the Rule of Law is already and largely the Rule of Trump and is on track to be evermore the Rule of Trump. Liberals have since 2015 been helpless to stop this -- they are hopeless waifs with no clue.

There really was no need for any other nation's involvement.

Israel had it under control.
I concur, all Trump has done is radacalize even more Arabs who will target Americans in the Middle East including uniformed and civilian contractors like myself.

No, it's not. It's merely a lot of people remembering your position when the Party was reversed and pointing out there is nothing behind your outrage but naked political grand standing.

It is a counter to your feigned righteousness because, no matter how much you stomp your feet, we have no reason to take your anger seriously.
My anger? Lord have mercy, I am laughing at your tactics. They are so lame.
Remembering MY position when the Party was reversed? I AM CANADIAN. I vote both Liberal and Conservative in Canada. Damn, you are so desperately fishing you can't even figure out that I don't have a party in the U.S.

You want to have the last word because your ego won't allow you to end a conversation with admitted defeat, well go for it, I am not insecure enough to have to have the last word. Yet, even when I promise not to rebut your next retort, I already know you will insist on the last word and you will make it juicy. Prove me wrong. Cheers.

Apparently. The hardest part of all this is that I no longer have any faith in the federal government. I don't believe over half of its statistics, especially the bs about inflation. Anybody who's shopped for essentials knows that's a pack of lies. I don't believe the media polls claiming Americans are gung ho on war - I don't personally know a single Republican or Democrat that doesn't want these bloody battles to end immediately and through negotiation - and I certainly don't believe there's any serious will on a federal level to represent Americans at this point. These creeping suspicions started with George Bush but have gotten successively worse. It now feels like we've been utterly hijacked by foreign interests

That so called simpleton defeated the Bushes Clinton’s Obamas Biden political families.

GOP funded pollsters are already putting out the fake poll numbers to skew the averages, so when the GOP loses, they can cry "STOLLEN ELECTION!" and point to these phony polls as "proof". They are doing it with Trump approval polls too.
The liberal NEED of fantasy runs deep.

Daydreamers FAIL to recognize what Trump is doing now, is on track to do the rest of this year and to do next year. Trump and MAGAs are never going to surrender power -- or accept opposition in any form. NEVER.

I am on topic. You don't think the fiscal ramifications for this boondoggle are relevant?? They sure are. We have a loose cannon in office that doesn't seem to get it, and he needs to be removed. Your scenarios are - as you said - anybody's guess. How is that helpful?? Americans are in the driver's seat if they make it clear that Trump's gotta be replaced. Then we can work on ending the foreign violence
