Trump Launches War On Iran

Iran is on the ropes.

It isn't possible to arm Israel with munitions that have the best chances of taking out extremely-hardened facilities such as Fordro(w).

The B-2 stealth bomber is the only delivery device. (And we've also so far refused to provide Israel with the 30,000-lb anti-bunker bombs.)
Israel does not have the air capability to carry those 15 K bombs

lol The party of hate can never get behind the president if he is not from their party. Right or wrong is irrelevant.
Trump and the GOP own the outcome and I hope Trump has won this one.
It was a bold move and I am cautiously optimistic.

Not to mention, N Korea has bombs. A country of 24 million starving people with a negative GDP.

Iran isn't going to have a problem getting the bomb if they really want one.
It's not that simple. They don't have a South Africa to give them stuff.

Sure, you're not a big fan of Trump, your comment history just happens to be you supporting every policy and move Trump makes.
I like his policies. Clearly the most transparent president of all time. I wish he would shut up more. I don't have to like him to support him when he is doing the right thing.

OMG!!!! What are we all going to do now that their nuclear facilities have been destroyed?
Let's all go hide in a cellar and hope they don't retaliate.
That way you won't get hit if the sky falls on you.
This your excuse, the "President of Peace" dragging us into war, and you gotta make excuses for Dear Leader?

lol

MAGA is such a pathetic platform.

The deal only delayed Iran's ability to make nukes
Yes, it did. But, it 1) delayed if for 10 years; 2) reduced their sense of urgency to work on nukes; 3) It also opened the door for broader diplomacy, including inviting Iran to join the rest of us in the civilized world, which would have further reduced an sense of urgency., and hopefully led to more deals.

The diplomacy was the better path. Instead, we ripped up a deal; which shattered our credibility AND made development of nukes far more urgent. This is just Iraq revisited. Iran: Iraq II --- a bigger, badder foe. When will we learn? Those that do not know history are doomed to repeat it.

Yep. Now we'll see what comes next and how much more the Israeli tail wags the American president dog.
Your duly elected president of America has done what no other president has dared to do.
And you are demeaning him for it.
You want him to fail and that is despicable.

Yes, he found us better than when he left us. When he became president our economy had crashed due to TRump’s criminal handling of covid. He inherited a literally sick country. 4 years later and our economy was the envy of the world and Americans had largely been able to move past covid. Biden also averted a recession for 4 years as every pundit and Republican in the country insisted one was on the way. As for the “million illegals’, spare me the phony right wing immigration talking points. They’re going into Home Depot’s to arrest folks cause the supposed invading “army” is crap for the rubes.
You know, I'm wondering if every last sentence in your post is a bald faced lie, or can I find even a little phrase of truth. I'm thinkin, need links

Ukraine Russian peace deal.

Fail.

Gaza ceasefire, peace deal.

Fail.

Iran peace deal.

Fail and dragging US into a full blown conflict.

Americans elected a moron.

And for their lack of wisdom, they will get the results they so desperately crave.
Just curious as to what you think the status of those three conflicts would be today had Harris been elected?

I for one was praying he would take away this regimes ability to do more harm to Americans. I really hope the people of Iran get rid of this leader and join us in the 21st century.

Maybe not tonight but I don’t see how these bombings wouldn’t happen eventually. Who high up in the American military is cool with Iran having a nuke.
Perhaps but then that only goes back to Trumps first year and recklessly tearing up the agreement they had. There was a system of monitoring that worked. Walking away from that was an invitation for Iran to do the same.

Again though, confluence of events. The Trump administration was on the verge of a new treaty when Israel dragged them into this. Would they have been so confident if it had been a different president?

Yep. Now we'll see what comes next and how much more the Israeli tail wags the American president dog.
Does anyone think Trump has the skills to create peace with Iran? Does anyone think Iran is inclined to go along with a peace agreement? Does Trump have any idea how completely he is controlled by Bibi? There is no way the US is going to come out intact and looking like a world leader.

And if Trump is successful in doing what every president has wanted to do, will you still demean him?
I doubt it.

Lordy (eyes rolling) .... nor did we run out of bombs in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan..... The Air Force has its limits in its effectiveness. First, there is no guarantee we got a kill. Second, nuclear technology is intellectual property. You can't bomb away intellectual property. Moreover, Iran can get a bomb without having make one from scratch.... Then there is the whole concept of 4th generation asymmetric warfare, which Iran can be quite good at; and we don't so well in defending.
It’s different to those wars though. They have specific targets what is your alternative?

If we actually set Iran’s nuclear program back several years, this was probably worth it.

The problem is what looks successful at first in the Middle East often doesn’t look good 6 months later.

You better seek shelter quickly because a big piece of sky is going to come down on you.

Let's all praise Obama because he was so smart to allow them to continue working toward the development of a nuclear weapon.

Maybe not. We still haven't heard the extent of the damage and for Iran it's a real consideration of what comes next. I suspect this is probably it for US involvement, but we'll see because it's clear Israel is driving the action and policy, not the US.

You mean that may be it? That would be walk loudly, carry small stick if that is all there is to it

So I guess we are just completely past the entire Congress has to ok the US going to war thing?

How many POTUS now have just side stepped that little caveat and unilaterally gotten the US engaged in wars?
