Trump Launches War On Iran

If I may reply for the left, the answer is zero. I can't think of anything that's pro-Iran.
You are the "left"? I have been wondering who this enigmatic entity that so many people have been lashing out against continually.

I presume you embody and exemplify every single slander and ignorant assumption that is prejudicually assigned to the vague enemy that is the "left"?

It's mostly his war. hopefully we just tag along for some Israeli clean up work - that's as far as I want to get -although our bases could possibly get attacked. I think Iran will quickly run out of firepower. The long war depends on what shape the regime winds up in. I wouldn't bet on long term hostilities
Well, the US is a target now, and the Mullah's have long memories. The failure here is resorting to military force, which will bring about only short term gain, assuming the US bombings has the intended effect.

So your answer is what, exactly? That it only starts wars when Trump does it?
The tactic behind whataboutism has been around for a long time. Rhetoricians generally consider it to be a form of tu quoque, which means "you too" in Latin and involves charging your accuser with whatever it is you've just been accused of rather than refuting the truth of the accusation made against you. Tu quoque is considered to be a logical fallacy, because whether or not the original accuser is likewise guilty of an offense has no bearing on the truth value of the original accusation.

Whataboutism is an argumentative tactic where a person or group responds to an accusation or difficult question by deflection. Instead of addressing the point made, they counter it with “but what about X?”.

Yep, that's MAGA, reducing the USA to Netanyahu's sidekick/underling.....

You think they are our friends? Should I remind you that on Sep 11, 2001 how many of those terrorists were Saudi? Did you somehow forget that Osama bin Laden was Saudi?
That they were Saudis is one thing, the key thing is what the government was doing to support terrorist groups and what they chose to let the US know about.

Something about world energy supply you are not aware of

The issue we’re discussing is Iran slitting its own throat. I don’t think it will do that. But if it tries to be stupid I also think we’ll be ready for it and respond appropriately.
