Trump is still plotting a coup...with the Mypillow guy...

I would bet this is more the mypillow guy fluffing Trump’s pillow than anything Trump is seriously considering.

He doesn’t have the military and any attempts to impose anything will be met with McConnell dragging the GOP back to the senate and convicting TRump.
 
An well-adjusted person would look at the trouble he has caused with his coup attempt, but no, like any aspiring tyrant, its just back to the drawing board. We are so lucky he is lazy and incompetent. But this is guy who, if he is breathing, he is scheming. We see these kinds of characters in countries that don't have a Democratic tradition. Never thought I would see it here.
 
 
Look, perhaps my perspective is merely aesthetic, or perhaps novelistic, but after all the unreally strange events of the last 4 years, after Covid, after the election, after Sidney Powell, and with a dearth of good tv programming (this is what I have been told but I don't myself watch), wouldn't it be more interesting if there were a military coup in the US? Tanks, sirens, machine gun fire in the night, dull explosions, detention centers, blackouts.

This is probably what the cultists are hoping for. Cause unrest and maybe storm a capital building or two and then Dear Leader declares martial law to stay in power.
