Sounds like you speak from experience.
Sounds like you do?

Irony... I have posters here thinking I am a Republican and others thinking I am liberal... in the same thread.
You guys need to huddle up and figure this out.

Speaking of facts. Did you read the article?
Being entranced by a demagogue is a sickness. You need help.
That ad hominem, pretty much a de facto concession on your part.
With some things more than others. I usually take note of drug and hooker analogies.
Okay... Addiction is addiction; a tragic mess.

He is. He's also right.
Indeed it is. That's why I asked you the question. It's insensitive at best and wantonly hurtful at worst to compare people who have different political ideas than you have to drug and alcohol addicts. It's trashy too.
no he isn't. many facts hurt liberal positions. The left wing position on guns is factually deficient. The right's position on some social issues is idiotic. Neither side has any advantage when it comes to facts in terms of the overall reality
"a president who has no moral or legal compass?"
That's not biased at all! Is it?!
Indeed. Is it? In other words, it's accurate in this case - addiction is addiction. IOW, accurate.
In your own words, why is a biased, liberally slanted opinion piece authored by a former Obama speechwriter worth reading? :coffeepap
The left doesn't have a singular position on guns. Gun positions among people left of center run the range from reasonable to unconstitutional. I would argue, like Colbert, that the consensus among "liberals" on many of the most pressing issues of this time tend to be influenced more by supportive facts than "conservative" positions. And for many Trump supporters, sadly, reality is optional.

Perhaps because people who think differently are capable of great insight? Try it. The echo chamber must get a little boring.
During my lifetime the left has been much more insular and intolerant than the Right....more ignorant as well.....more stupid and less good human beings...that has defined the Left.
We have to do better.
I appreciate your opinion of your own interpretation of your own experience. I think I disagree however.
well you are talking about numerous leftwing positions compared to how many "conservative" positions. I think where conservatives ignore facts is on things like prayer in school, abortion, gay rights, and flag burning. On economic issues, the left has plenty of faith based nonsense itself.
Ya they do...the citizens shall have no power to refute the rulings of the state, there-for the guns have to go, the sooner the better.
conservatives are not stifling opposing speech on college environments
