Obama's letter itself makes clear that the digitization is about UNCLASSIFIED material

So, to recap, initially and during the sorting process NARA stored both classified and unclassified documents in a facility bigger than Mar-a-Lago. That facility (according to NARA statement) had a secured compartment for the classified documents. In the end those documents returned to DC and were stored in a secured facility there. The UNCLASSIFIED documents remained in the storage area and they are digitized to make them accessible to the broad public.

The agents did not even know that there were secret documents there, and we have seen numerous foreigners taking photos together with Trump in rooms like his office which also had classified documents. By contrast, places which are meant to store Top Secret SCI files operate under rules where even the agents who enter such rooms are not permitted to carry cellphones while they are in these secured rooms!

But that aside, what were they worried about with Trump? He had them for a year and a half and didn't do anything with them, Like Obama, he is a busy man. They had an agreement and the FBI decided to violate the agreement and raid him. This was just spite and another "Get Trump" operation to stop him from running in 2024 and also to damage conservatives as a whole by an out-of-control FBI and DOJ. The same agency that just raided the home of an abortion foe who lightly shoved a baby killer advocate a YEAR ago with machine guns drawn and 21 agents, done as a message to anyone who dares oppose their agenda.

What a stupid, ignorant rant. You're even surpassing yourself. The mere fact of Trump retaining these materials is itself illegal. Furthermore neither you nor I know what he did or did not do with those documents. And, by the way, what happened to those in the now empty Top Secret folders? Any idea?

he does give though the opportunity to post some things for those who are honest in their quest for the truth

Here is a link which describes security requirements for facilities storing top-secret information.

It makes clear that all this talk about having secured areas simply by having a lock is just ignorance (or trolling as you said)

Having access to files with classified information as a former president is legal and posters even posted the relevant parts of the law which show that it is legal (assumming of course that the sitting president has no objections). In Trump's case we are talking about storing and CONTROLLING (owning) the files with classified information in an unsecured location (meaning location that does not satisfy the security standards of storing highly classified information).. You try to change the subject because you are losing!

Again, see some of the requirements for areas designed to keep classified info


Security for storing such documents is not satisfied by just having a lock....

January 2021 to June 2022, the room was not double locked.

An additional lock (if there even was an original) wasn't added until after the June NARA/FBi visit where the FPOTUS failed to fully comply with the Grand Jury Subpoena by request of the NARA/FBI.

So, after Rawley brought here the initial links with the supposedly "a-ha" moment based on Obama's letter and after his nonsense has been refuted, he continues to hide even though he still visits this thread and reads the conversations, including my responses which you quote.

This is a clear indication that some posters who come here with a desire to discuss things they find in their sources are not really interested in exchanging information or in debating. They only care about supporting Trump and when the discussion takes a turn which refutes their initial deceptive claims, they just lose their appetite for any discussion
