Trump has now fallen below 50% US-wide.

This has become so popular a phrase!

MAGA Media does run through all of todays society.

Another one, lawfare.

I love how malleable we humans are.
Look at you running away again.

Is this a case of keep counting until you get the right answer?
Exactly my thought, California being a single party state run by the corrupt California Democrat political machine and the election laws and regulations they've put into place to advantage themselves, all echoed in Pelosi's HR1, if you recall.

The same Democrat party legal assault on election integrity as in PA:
You can go right to the source as to why:

Elias is insisting that ballots be counted regardless if:
  • ballots of NON-registered voters
  • unsigned mail-in ballots
  • mail-in ballots without a date
  • ballots cast in counties where the voter does not reside
A brief history of Marc Elias and Democrats gaming the election system:
You seem to be suffering from the delusion that the Democrats haven't been gaming 'the system' (election laws, processes and procedures) for years already.

Former White House counsel Dana Remus, who led the Joe Biden legal team in the last election, will again lead the legal fight for Vice President Kamala Harris. Sources familiar with the Democratic strategy say they have recruited hundreds of lawyers across key states with the expertise needed to fight a variety of challenges they could face.
“Prepare, prepare, prepare,” Remus, senior counsel to the campaign, told CNN in an interview. “They have started earlier, and we have started earlier too. We never stopped preparing since 2020.”

Apparently preparing for the gaming since just after the last election.

Marc Elias in 2021. In his three-decade career, he has arguably done more than any single person outside government to shape the Democratic Party and the rules under which all campaigns and elections in the United States are conducted.Credit...

Further, Marc Elias is not, apparently, a person to be trusted.

(Reuters) - The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Wednesday that it will not drop sanctions it levied in March against famed Democrat lawyer Marc Elias, but it will vacate sanctions against three other Perkins Coie lawyers who were on his team.
The court had sanctioned Elias, who became a hero of sorts to Democrats in 2020 battling lawsuits filed by Republicans seeking to overturn the results of the U.S. presidential election, and five other Perkins Coie lawyers for lack of candor.

The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals doesn't. How many other courts shouldn't have trusted him?

Perkins Coie eh?
Isn't that the same law firm which was the go-between the Hillary's DNC and Fusion GPS for providing the Steel dossier fabrication which infected the nation for as long as the Democrats could keep it going? Why, yes, that was the same law firm.

Odd that I provide citation to back up my opinion / position, and all you do is irrationally rant. 🤷‍♂️
Well, you do you.

This a reaction to the Dem's gaming.

Further:

“Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything.”

I have been waiting for you to explain how this election showed that America is more liberal than conservative for several pages so far. Yet you keep running away from answering that.
I responded to your original post and not the one where you moved goalposts

More than 153 million votes are now counted.

California has almost all their votes counted, but around 1 million still is left there.

And in all other states, maybe another 1-2 million are left.

States have until December 11 to finish counting and release their official results to Congress, for the vote of the electoral college.
We are still waiting for the official reply

You do a good job of pointing out why the Electoral College will never not be the deciding factor in our presidential elections. The absolute reality is that outside of the intensely corrupt rat party shitholes in a very few blue states...MOST people dont support them, and mos states will reject being dictated to by those same intensely corrupt rat party shitholes.

Trump had a 4%-lead nationally on election night (51-47).

But in the end, with most mail-states (who lean heavily D) finishing their count soon, Trump's national lead has been cut from 4% to 1.5% ...

This is not ideal.

In my opinion, all votes should be counted on election day, or the day after.

California and Co. shouldn't be allowed to count votes for 5 weeks after election day. They should be mandated by the Supreme Court to change their election laws, so that all votes are counted immediately on election day and the day after.
That would require a Constitutional amendment so........

That California is still counting votes two weeks after the election is something that should outrage everybody. Democrats included
I think the EC just helped the US dodge a bullet. Consider this, proponents of the popular vote...,

Imagine if we did use the popular vote with automatic runoff and if no one gets 50%+1, just how ****ed up things would be in America right now.

People would be asking, "Did Trump win? Did he get enough votes?" There would be 500 lawsuits in every state trying to "find" even a few move votes, and rioting in the streets over suspected election fraud.

Given that we might not know the answer before the Dec 20 cutoff, we'd be back in 2000 territory, but with 50 states instead of of 1.

While Trump has fallen below 50% of the vote nationwide, he did receive at least 50% of the vote within all of the states he won except for Wisconsin and Michigan. Excluding those two states, Trump would still have over 270 Electoral votes, which would be at 287 electoral votes.

No, I think they count it correctly according to the law.

If they were faking it, US House races would also go Democratic in California after election day ... but they remained close and some were won by Republicans.

It's just that CA needs to be mandated by Congress to count much faster. Mail ballots should not arrive after election day.

Mail ballots should arrive no later than election day.
And, how can one guarantee that the Post Office won't screw up and delay delivery of ballots on time? Why should voters be deprived of their vote because something they cannot control prevents their ballot from being delivered on time? Sounds like you approve of TFG's appointment of DeJoy as postmaster who has revamped the Post Office so much that mail is delayed a good percentage of the time.

Turns out his popular vote margin is the smallest since Bush vs Gore.

Scant consolation now but if he's just going to make the same mistakes as his last term, there's the midterms to look forward to.
