In an interview with Fox, Trump says that he feels sorry for Flynn. He also reaffirmed his position that Flynn's vetting issues was Obama's fault. Once again, Trump plays to the ignorance of his base.

agree, his base is a bottomless pit for his lies.

You go to the work to start a thread but dont give us a quote.

If you want my attention you will have to do better work.

Why on Earth would you conclude that the thread was about you and getting your attention?

I was saying that this thread is below this Trump supporters Quality Threshold, in case the author would care to make improvements.

Call it performance art of a sarcastic nature.

I'll call it that. All we need is a second, and it's a settled matter.

I dont know you and you lost me....I am hoping that is a statement of support.

20 years ago it would have been, back in the better days when people tended to be more honest than they are now.

WTF is there to feel sorry about? Him working as a (literal) foreign agent of Turkey, or taking millions from Russian oligarchs? And who exactly forced his hand in these transactions?

Answer: Nothing, neither and nobody.

It is a statement of support - along the parliamentary rules line of thinking. Might as well be formal, no?

RE Trump:
You dont know anything about him acting as a traitor to America, and he massively underestimated how strong sadism and stupidity have gotten in America, which he pays big for, and which I dont think he was really in a position to know about before he asked for the job although it comes as no surprise to me.

RE Flynn: Almost the same, yes he took some money for services but if Trump says that he is a good guy I am going to assume that is true till someone proves otherwise.

We used to run our University Housing Co-Op by Roberts Rules of Order.

I was talking to someone not long ago....it seems that almost no one does that anymore, young people for instance have no clue.

They knew each other. My guess is Trump may have even considered him a friend. You can feel bad for a friend who gets into trouble, even if they brought that trouble on themselves.

He's sorry he got caught, as usual.

Indeed. You can. Some would even call it empathy and humanity . . . . .

And then there are some that turn right around and call Trump a heartless bastard.

Funny how that works.

It was Trump's responsibility to vet his own campaign people and appointees....not Obama's.

I almost feel sorry for Trump...but he's such a pig that it's impossible.

With as vindictive as Obama was towards military guys he did not like Flynn keeping his security clearance was a vote of confidence from Obama.

That made no sense.

Actually records show Flynn took 67000 from a network that touts itself as independent. I dont think it is and I dont think he should have done it. Maybe he needed the money like an upcoming wall street speech.

As a public broadcast it was a terrible way to keep a secret if he was trying to hide it.

I dont support it as I dont support the "appearance" of conflict of interest but I have yet to see Flynn get "millions" from anywhere. Even the Turkish deal was for his company.

Nevertheless his actions and subsequent crucifixion at the hands of the lying media is a sad way to end a lifetime of service.

Wanting your attention is so low on my priority list that it could only be accurately measured by an instrument calibrated to read in negative numbers. That said, I listed the source as FOX. Google it.

Flynn has dirt on Trump and his cohorts so no wonder he says nice things about him. It's the same with Putin...

Oh of course, and Trump is a mental midget with a maniacal drive to tend to his image so he cant admit to any faults, and then there is all that money that Trump just had to have taken from the Russians so they want favors now. Hell next week there might even be little green men from Mars in the story.

Trump has sold 65 condo's in Trump Tower alone to the Russians. So yes he has taken money from them. As far as his campaign colluding with Russian agents the FBI is still investigating that matter. Making up little green men won't save him either. BTW What "faults" has Trump admitted to? I must have missed that.
