It's not quite that simple. Not everyone leads a life of luxury where they can just escape hostilities with the snap of a finger.

Iranian airspace has also been closed.

Why should they “hurry up”, exactly? Is the “Jewish state” planning on nuking Tehran? That’d be awfully stupid of them, even by Israeli standards.
 
"The people" overthrew the Shah of Iran and and planted the seeds of a far worse extremist regime. Ultimately they will be the very ones paying the price.
 
I think something is going to happen. Bibi is saying Iran's government will not survive for much longer. I also understand the NSC was just ordered to meet as soon as possible and refueling aircraft (ours) are heading from Asia to the Middle East. (All this is off Reddit which is noisy but also timely.) I think there may be imminent US involvement if some kind.

It seems that as of now, however, there is a very, very large proportion of Iranians which hate their current government.

OK sure. But you know what they say: "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". There might be a large potential coalition of dissidents there, if done smartly.
