Trump does the right thing for the wrong reason

What are you basing this on? And even then, so what? You've stated a claim without context and left it to me to give it meaning. It's your claim. You give it meaning.

What are you basing that on?

are you serious?
My God.

Are you able to answer the questions or not?

your first question is already answered

your second, question, the answer is self evident

I am not gonna play stupid games with you.

So in other words, no, you're not able to cogently apply any meaning or context to your claims. You basically started a thread with the singular position "FEDERAL WORKERS PAID TOO MUCH!" and have no idea how to actually support it.

That is really weak thinking.

get the **** out of here. Shove that patriotism horse **** where the sun don't shine. pay is pay. You don't volunteer out of patriotism for cash. See how phony you are?
some facts about the poor little federal workers
Mr. Miller, If you’re going to participate in a private forum, spouting your usual reptilian logic, you should at least announce yourself first so we know upfront what we’re dealing with.

the takeaway is that you cant comprehend averages graphs or logic

your over paid dude, be happy you got lucky

in a fee market you'd be toast

He froze a pay hike. He isn't freezing their salary in general.

He should next freeze any Congressional pay hikes for 5 years. They sure as **** haven't done anything to earn it.

And what did your graph prove?

I'm overpaid? Considering that you clearly don't even know what I do for a living or how well I do it that seems like a super petty comment to make.

Nobody said he was freezing their salary.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the internet age, people in their basements making stuff up every second.

Well, apparently you don't like reports that contradict your claims. I have a source, you don't.

That's an insignificant part of the whole story. Where are they paid this, and what is the cost of living in the places where they work, and do you really want to be using the private sector as a bench mark for what they should be paid?

Yes, there is no reason that federal wages should rise based on time spent breathing while private wages do not. The last increase in the federal minimum wage was in 2009 - do you think that it makes sense to raise every federal worker's pay every year?

I posted the accurate numbers. Scroll back.

from your own link, "there are large differences by educational level: from a 34 percent advantage for federal workers with a high school education or less..."

When you claimed that "on average they make $6,100 more than do private sector workers" you said that was THE WHOLE STORY. Now, faced with contradictory sources you're suddenly interested in analyzing the nuance and details.

There is nothing substantive in your post.

honest, still you are going on after being pounded mercilessly?

Just what is your contention? That federal workers should bankrupt the country?

Federal workers are bankrupting the country now? Again, support the claim that they are paid too much.

Or in yours. Why should the size or wealth of the employer dictate the wage of their cashier, shelf stocker or floor sweeper? An entry level job should pay an entry level wage which is the basis of equal pay for equal work. There is no reason to pay a federal cashier, shelf stocker or floor sweeper more than a private sector cashier, shelf stocker or floor sweeper.

Why does the private sector determine the benchmark?

Yes, it does, Why don't you read it in context. Do you know what context is??

Why does the private sector determine the benchmark?

Because the free market is a better judge of value.. Assigning an arbitrary wage to people negates or ignores the value of their effort and the worth of their contribution. A business has a bottom line. If it pays people more than they are worth it will fail. The state can pay arbitrary wages because if they need more money to cover costs, they just reach into your wallet.
