Trump: blah blah McConnell is a broken hack blah blah

Nah. It’s awesome!

The more he pumps them up the crazier they act and every time it happens, an independent gets their wings.

Hope you like the wilderness, yer gonna be wandering it for some time!
You libruls uttered pretty much the same empty rhetoric in 2016 and claimed that the hildabest was going to wipe the floor with Trump. How did that work out for you?

i don't think the ex-president has the ability to shut up.
He does. Just put him in front of a grand jury. Or, others who are 'catching him'. He shut up about Obama's birth certificate when it became a political liability - lies that he had investigators making huge discoveries changed to his saying Obama was born in the US. Asked about Stormy Daniels - nothing to say, 'ask Michael Cohen'. He said nothing about inviting Russian officials to the White House, barring US press, after firing James Comey.

Trump has been merrily stomping on his own dick since 2016.

The only thing he did was give himself a big tax cut and a little temporary one for you and me.

That’s it. Hillary still walks free. He was a one termer, the mark of a failed president. Would have been impeached, if it weren’t for McConnell, who is now a rino.

Well let's see. She got 3 million more votes than Trump. Russia helped him win along with Jim Comey.

Then in the course of 4 years, lost the senate, lost the house and lost the WH. Lost the popular vote by more than 7 million. Lost in court 60 times. Beat by a little old man from Delaware. And then there was the attack on our democracy. I wouldn't be propping up Trump too hard. He's a one-time sore loser.

Yea, what a great record Donnie dipshit has.

Herschel Walker I mean what were they thinking? He’s down about two points to incumbent Warnock and remember that seat was jettisoned by Trump’s irrational behavior after the election. that seat should be Republican! it’s by some stroke of luck that it’s in democratic hands and looks to remain in democratic hands as of today.

Think about how bad the 49% are who would support Walker in a 49-51 split. It's like saying there's a 49-51 split on a measure to repeal all laws against e-coli. It's nuts. If they'd support Walker, who would be too bad for them?

This as a result of McConnell on the shitty quality of GOP Senate candidates.

Trump? Seriously...shut up. Just shut the friggin frack up. You propped these losers up as the "great choice". As leader of the Senate, McConnell has every right in the world to complain about it because it's the GOP's chances of taking back the Senate on the line.
But this is on par with Trump's goals. He wants candidates that toe his line, not the party line. McConnell sees the writing on the wall for how some of these nutters might fare in a general election.

Well let's see. She got 3 million more votes than Trump.
Meaningless as we do not elect presidents by popular vote. We elect them based on who wins the most electoral collge votes.
Russia helped him win along with Jim Comey.
Nope
Then in the course of 4 years, lost the senate, lost the house and lost the WH.
Nope. The republicans in the house and senate lost those races
Lost the popular vote by more than 7 million.
Again there was no popular vote to win.
Beat by a little old man from Delaware.
Nope. Dementia Joey could not even win the democrat nomination without the party setting him up for it to avoid a Bernie Sanders ticket. The general election was set up for him as well. He largely just sat in hos basement in Delaware and sharted himself.
And then there was the attack on our democracy. I wouldn't be propping up Trump too hard. He's a one-time sore loser.
The question is, who really incited that riot? We may find out when the GOP takes over the House and investigates all evidence, rather then just going after Trump.

Every Republican running for office is Tweety as far as my vote is concerned.

He was a one termer, the mark of a failed president.
Using that logic, Biden is destined to be a failure. I don't think any smart librul still thinks Biden will serve two terms.
Would have been impeached, if it weren’t for McConnell, who is now a rino.
Technically he was impeached. Do you understand what impeachment is? It's basically the House presenting a case to the Senate. Trump was acquitted in the Senate. And it's dumb to think McConnell saved him. It takes a 2/3s vote in the Senate to toss out a president. That was not going to happen regardless of McConnell.

You better hope trump keeps his mouth shut or you’ll lose the house too.

I only hope that people actually go to the polls and vote instead of posting their opinions of how they would vote.
Yes, a good voter turnout is essential, something Dem's have struggled with in midterms.

Sure. You keep telling yourself that.

We all saw the republicans blink after 1/6. They didn’t have the stones to follow through, crawled back to trump.

But they can read the writing on the wall. And it looks like they’re gonna rip the bandaid off.

We’ll see.

If Biden chooses not to run, for whatever reason, it does not make him a one-time loser. Your logic is ridiculous. And I'll guarantee if the match-up was the same as 2020, Trump would lose by 15 million votes.

If McConnell had wanted to oust Trump, he could have brought his senators in line. It was a political calculation that looked pretty good to ole Mitch at the time. Not so much anymore. he's about to lose the senate because of Trump. Had he known this would happen, Trump would be history, forever.

This is actually why trump's political victory (as limited as it is to the Republican Party), when all he has is promoting his name, defeating politicians who actually support a powerful movement of the powerful, is, I hate to say, so impressive, if his getting power through appealing to imbecility can be called impressive. Republican politicians underestimated his con man role. People did with Reagan also. Nixon thought Reagan was an idiot.

In fact, I'll make a text cartoon to illustrate it.

Frame 1: portray the "Picante" commercial, where cowboys around a campfire sneer at a bottle of sauce, saying "NEW YORK CITY" in disgust.

Frame 2: same scene, but trump is added, standing, eating that sauce, saying 'greatest sauce ever', smirking at them.

Frame 3: same scene, the cowboys crazed excited to eat the New York sauce.

Hold up

Seeing as Trumpism is a poison and all that go along know, I'm not sure what the problem is. If McConnell is turning the other cheek, womp-womp, and what's that you say? "**** your feelings"? I definitely remember that being said. Trumpists can't complain.

I think you might be right, but I'm not sure. I think the Senators would expect it would cost them their next election and might not be willing.

It's not a matter of Biden's choosing. The democrats are going to ditch him either way.

They are not his Senators. Senators are answerable to their constituents not the turtle.

Wild eyed projection. Similar projection in 2016 Trump a 16% chance of winning in 2016. If the populist movement still lives, and Trump still holding sway with the conservative base suggest it does, the GOP may very well flip the Senate.

That rant made no sense whatsoever.

Spoken like a true librul.
I have often been amused about how often terms like "librul" are used by certain righties, as if they suddenly discovered it is a brand new word.
It isn't, it's as lame as every other word they use that they BELIEVE sounds smart, but makes them look stupid. I am guessing they get their words from a special book

Next, you will show me your comment of the English language and call me a "snowflake."

What really bothers you is how much sway Trump still holds with the conservative base.

It’s true. If some candidate who wants to nuke hurricanes and stick bleach up people’s behinds in a pandemic held sway over so many people, wouldn’t it bother you?

Trump is a dick.

I largely disagree. It is McConnell who should shut the hell up. Just a little over two months from the midterms, the turtle publicly shits on the GOP's chances of taking the Senate. If the GOP fails to flip the Senate the turtle's pessimism added to the republicans giving up the only leverage they had to prevent the dems latest massive spending bill by signing onto the chip subsidy bill when they did will have done far more damage then he thinks Trump endorsed candidates will do. And if all your are concerned with is a party win, what's the point? The GOP should stand for something. I left the party and went independent because they are largely ignoring conservative principles laid out in their platform. Maybe McConnell is just looking for something to blame other then his capitulation on the chips subsidy bill.
Oh, of course you agree with the cult leader, because, you have to.

But, its getting harder to be a Trump toady....

McConnell is only saying what most of us already know, and his acknowledgment of reality doesn’t transfer any of the responsibility for endorsing really shitty, completely unqualified candidates away from Trump.
