Harvard poll.

That’s two things I’ve been right about so far among many other examples.

Mainly, only leftist whackadoodles care about 1/6 and Biden is destined to be Trumps doormat.

But Harris drops DeSantis?
————

The latest Harvard / Harris poll doesn't look good for Democrats, at all.

For starters, President Trump would beat Biden 45% to 43% with 12% undecided in a hypothetical 2024 matchup, were it to be held today. Trump would beat VP Kamala Harris 49% to 38%, with 13% undecided.

Interestingly, Harris beats Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) 41% to 39% were both Trump and Biden out of the race.

The 'most important issues facing the country' are also a huge blow to Democrats - particularly their dog-and-pony January 6th show trials, which just 7% of those polled thought was the 'most important' issue.

And when HARVARD says it, it's gotta be true!! What a hard left, woke as hell institution, is forced to publish this type of info - it's gotta be facts.

Good. No responsible American can vote for democrats at this point. They don't represent America - they represent the internationalist cabal.

The margin is very slim (only 2%), but it does appear that Trump would win.

This is a shift from polls done earlier this year which showed that Biden would beat Trump in a re-match. By about a 2% margin, not surprisingly.

Even the NYT poll has Trump winning over Biden. Ooopss

Geez...that Kamala Harris would beat anyone, much less Desantis surprises me.

I hate to cast aspersions....

Okay so I won't.

But I am very surprised at this poll result in that scenario.

Are voters uninformed? The reader will decide.

The Times reports, "A variety of data suggests that the electorate’s attention is shifting back to issues where Republicans are on stronger ground in public opinion, like the economy, inflation, crime and immigration, and away from the summer’s focus on democracy, gun violence, and abortion, where Democrats have an edge.

During the Reagan-to-Trump timeline, the Republican presidencies had four recessions start in their terms: one each under Reagan and George H. W. Bush, and two under George W. Bush. By contrast, Democrats Bill Clinton and Barack Obama had zero. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...versee-recessions-dems-recoveries/5235957002/

With full employment, substantial job growth, and robust spending, the Biden economy is on fire. Inflation is a by-product of prosperity. To change that, unemployment must increase causing less spending. That will result in lower prices. It is called a recession. Does the voter want a recession? That's what they are saying. Is that why they think Republicans can do a better job with the economy?

The truth is, in a free enterprise system there is very little the federal government can do about the economy.

Four Republican Presidents, Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, and Trump could not solve the immigration problem.

Bad guys use illegal guns. The NRA-sponsored Republican Party is strongly opposed to meaningful gun control that would keep guns out of the hands of bad guys and lonely teenagers with mental problems.

The Republican Party supports government control of a pregnant woman's body. What else do they want to control?

The Republican Party is led by Donald Trump. Not only did Trump incite a riot in our capitol on Jan. 6, 2020, but he is attacking the basis of American democracy by challenging the results of a free election. He is joined by countless Republicans running for office and/or members of Congress.

In addition, "During Donald Trump’s presidency, Trump hotels charged the Secret Service as much as $1,185 per night, more than five times the recommended government rate, and the high rates continued after he left office," NBC, thus providing a clue as to the personality of the Republican leader.

The Hill reports, "Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) took a shot at Republican challenger Herschel Walker for skipping a debate held by the Atlanta Press Club on Sunday.

"Warnock was introduced along with Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver, while Walker was represented by an empty lectern."

Republicans will remain totally silent on the issues presented.

We have the result of our third New York Times/Siena College national survey of the midterm cycle to go with your coffee this morning: 49 percent of voters say they back the Republican congressional candidate in their district, compared with 45 percent backing the Democratic one," the Times.

Ranked polling is often misunderstood. To ask someone what is "most important" does not mean people don't care about something, when it polls low. It measures they came up with a different answer for what is "most important" to them.

Also, the oollingfor 2024 right now is about worthless. Both men are trending in opposite directions.

How many believed it was important? Just because someone doesn't think it is the most important, they may still think it is important, and it could affect their vote.

Exactly. 60% could think it is important, just not most important.

And many others have already decided not to vote against the disgusting pile of crap Trump for other reasons, so that one would not be the most important.

We've known for decades that American 'democracy' is deeply flawed, bordering on farcical, largely controlled by the donor class; it's still surprising, but I suppose not that surprising if many don't care that it's on the verge of being lost entirely. If so, I suppose we'll learn how precious even those tattered remnants of it really were :(

Since we're cherry picking polls, I'll pick this one.

President: general election, 2024

Hopefully that one is more accurate!

But it won’t. Or it would be most important.

I like Trump because he is so strong. He has very strong words on social media. That is what I look for in a leader.

So you posted this so we could all see Harris beating DeSantis?

Lol, what until this fickle public sees what the GOP has in store for them should they gain power after the next election.

We never learn.
