Trump Again Begging To Receive The Noble Peace Prize

The peace prize is overly politicized, but Trump should not be considered.

What has been ever present with Trump is the chip on his shoulder from never really being well liked anywhere for an extended period of time. In NYC he wasn't well received among the real estate elite, and his businesses were often not well received either because of their gimmick-like tendencies and over branding. He's always tried to push himself into prominence and probably with the hopes he would be liked. He's a "try hard" who are people who go out of their way to get others to like them not realizing that very effort sabotages that goal.

You are right. In fact the Nrbel Peace Prize has never had any value compared with the prizes for physics and medicine. Decisions on who should get them are entirely subjective, akin to the award for literature.

Trump has always had an axe to grind with NYC Old Money elites for snubbing him. Combine that with his entitled, spoiled, upbringing and this is what you get.

The more I read the more I predict Trump is going to be a lot more uncomfortable.

His chances of scoring The Prize are between nil and never. The Nobel committee would be hanged.

From what I read here and there, Trump is going to have to get used to not getting what he wants, not getting the recognition he demands.

He's losing his base. MAGA grows tired of the constant demand for love and attention and the American people, it's institutions are sick of being attacked.

Note: At this writing he's been in the big chair 147 days.

He's coming off a planned apex where the parade was a dud, no one sang happy birthday, it rained, the soldiers marched poorly, he had to go to the wilds of Canada and meet with much lesser men, too many other people are getting bigger headlines, the people he appoints disappoint, his Big Beautiful Bill is being shredded by his own followers and he can't have the airplane he wants!

So he takes 3 days off to play some golf at his own resorts where he doesn't have to mingle with riff raff

It's not Riff Raff so much as Sycophants. Trump prefers to be like the Character in the old joke. The Executive walks down the hall followed by half a dozen people who reply with "That's right J.B." to everything he says. That is what Trump expects from his people, and those around him. If they don't do that, their days are numbered.

That's why I wonder why anyone serious would even consider a job working for Trump. If you don't tell him what he wants to hear, then you're out. Shoot the messenger is Trump's favorite play. God help him if the Messenger turns out to be right. Trump will call the man mentally unstable, everyone knows it.

Trump would love the Riff Raff if they sang his praises. That is the deciding factor. How much money they have matters, but the biggest thing is how much they adore him. Look at his speeches and events. He says the line and smirks waiting for the cheers of his adoring fans. If they don't cheer, he gets thrown off his game. That was what happened in the debate with Kamala. Trump would say a line, and there were no cheers. It flustered him to no end.

Abe Lincoln sits symbolically in a much bigger chair. Trump can't have that. Oh, no. He'll drain the Reflecting Pool to build a towering gold-plated Trump Memorial. It'll be better than any memorial ever built and even Old Abe will have to look up at him. Wanna bet whether or not he believes he will deserve the memorial as due homage for being America's best ever president?

They may hold off on giving it to him, to make him go away, of course, in order to protect Greenland.
