Trump: ‘I’m Allowed to Do Whatever I Want’ With Classified Info

Can't wait to hear him testify. If his Lawyers let him, because we all know he listens to them. We all need a lesson on the PRA.
Perjury is on the table. ;) Not only will he say what he wants, he opens himself to cross examination.
I wish Trump would testify but his attorneys have to realize that putting him on the stand would be a huge mistake given his propensity to exaggerate and out right lie.

Trump said all the classified material was cleared via his mind.

As President all I had to do is wish them declassified.

I'm sure this will come out in court by the prosecution.

Some of the grade school shit Trump throws out there is hilarious and sad.

DONALD TRUMP SAID he “absolutely” plans to testify in the federal government’s case against him regarding classified documents he removed from the White House. “I’m allowed to do whatever I want … I’m allowed to do everything I did,” the former president told conservative podcast host Hugh Hewitt.
In an interview on “The Hugh Hewitt Show” that dropped Wednesday, the host asked Trump, “Did you direct anyone to move the boxes, Mr. President? Did you tell anyone to move the boxes?” referring to the boxes of more than 300 classified documents the federal government seized last year from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
“I don’t talk about anything. You know why? Because I’m allowed to do whatever I want. I come under the Presidential Records Act,” Trump replied, while also taking a quick detour to bash Hewitt. “I’m not telling you. You know, every time I talk to you, ‘Oh, I have a breaking story.’ You don’t have any story. I come under the Presidential Records Act. I’m allowed to do everything I did.”

I can't wait to hear what he says on the stand. I'm looking forward to his comprehensive explanations of the Presidential Records Act.
What a crazed Despot. He is gonna die in prison.

You betcha! Presidents and ex-presidents can do whatever they want, whenever they want, to whomever they want. They can ignore subpoenas, lie to the FBI, and try to hide documents they don't want the government to seize. It's all right there in Article 2 of the Constitution. Isn't that right, Mycroft? GTFOH.
Dial back the hyperbole, eh? It undermines everything you say.

Bye.

So, for the record, your claim is that Trump was allowed to show classified intelligence to people without a clearance even when he was not president and knowing the documents were still classified? This is your claim?
There's no proof that Trump showed classified...anything...to anyone without a clearance.

You really shouldn't apply any truth to nonsense concocted by the media.

Hell, Smith isn't even charging Trump with showing classified information to anyone without a clearance. That alone should tell you that nonsense is irrelevant.

He truly is a stupid man, on top of everything else.

Of course he says that now lol, but when the time comes he’ll say he really wanted to testify but he lawyers wouldn’t allow it.

Are you saying that he would tell the truth when he's under oath? He doesn't know what the truth is, regardless of where he is and whether he is under oath. What he says is only something he thinks will benefit him.
No argument there. I full expect he'll keep lying. Seems he can't help himself. But I'll only listen when he's under oath and is actually facing consequences for lying. That's the part I look forward to.

He's been a little restrained when under oath, but if the prosecutor rides him a little... ;)

Or stay on topic.

Whatever he says becomes truth as soon as he says it.

Yes, he can do whatever he wants and actions have consequences.
He's been getting away with crimes for such along time he's Invincible.

The Georgia mugshot shows Trump finally coming to grips with reality

The fear and loathing are plain for everyone to see.

A media person who was in court said his eyes were darting from person to person.

It was around the same time when Trump said "If your coming after me, I'm coming after you".

You need to remember that you don't know what there is or isn't proof of.
You're rightist news might be telling you there's no proof of this or that but they don't know any more than you do.

Watching Trump being cross examined under threat of perjury with a judge stopping his attempts to avoid answering questions would be the best entertainment Trump has ever provided. And when the prosecutor has finished turning Trump into an embarrassed wreck, he can finish up by saying "You're fired"

Even though it chaps the ass of thousands of Trump haters...Trump is correct.

Please do show me where in that law that says the president can take top secret documents or any presidential document.

As usual you have no idea of what you are posting about. You're just repeating trump's lies.
