Again, because you obviously haven’t been provided with canned responses, I believe a nation has a right and duty to control its borders.

But this is just cruelty theater and getting us used to totalitarian behavior from our government. As we reach end stage capitalism authoritarianism will be necessary for the free world’s players to compete with those who enjoy authoritarian regimes already. No democracy will tolerate the deprivation that will accompany the final stages.

So it has to go.

Actually - the question you cite poll respondent’s response to was regarding:

It did not mention HOW the “efforts” were being conducted.

The same poll also found:

27 % said it would be acceptable if some legal residents were mistakenly detained; 73 % said that would not be acceptable

Prior polling has found Americans highly AGAINST using military and military funding for any immigration raids. With 21 and 41 point margins AGAINST such actions.


HOW deportations are conducted matters.

People support ICE agents who have warrants removing criminal “illegal” immigrants from the US following due process.

People do NOT support rolling militarized operations through the streets rounding people up.

There is a world of difference between the two.

The federal government should bring the violence to an end immediately if California leaders are unable to do their job. These are not peaceful protestors. They are rioters trying to keep law enforcement from getting rid of the criminals. If federal agents conducted deportations with civility and following due process, they wouldn’t be met with massive protests.

There is a right way to do things and there is a wrong way.

This Administration is enticing violence.

Nothing new or shocking about that.

He has many similarities to a famous Nazi henchman, Joseph Goebbels. The physical resemblance is striking, but it doesn't end there. The job Goebbels performed for Hitler has parallels to the job Miller is performing for Trump.

The good thing is, the 2k they’re bringing in can’t do much in a sprawling metro area of 18 million people with out local agency help. And the cops and sheriffs office have not been too helpful unlike in 2020 when the Cal Guard was assisted by thousands of LAPD, LASD, and CHP. That could be subject to change. Cops after all have dog shit far right politics.


Also unlike 2020, there is no citywide curfew or emergency order. 2,000 soldiers are not nearly enough to lock a city down of that size.

That’s rich coming from someone that votes for a guy that lives in an alternate reality and kept screaming about losing the 2020 election and also apart of a base that can’t accept their pedophile idol was found guilty in court of criminal acts and the trial wasn’t a witch hunt or bullshit or rigged.

ICE is operating in Los Angeles County (Paramount, for example, an incorporated city) - 4,083 sq mi. for the National Guard to cover.
