Yep. It's that dumb. The funniest part is I was assured a few days ago that one of the harms of being trans is it drastically limits the pool of people who want to have sex with you.

If someone just wanted to have sex with men...they could just have sex with men. The entire premise is so stupid. Any young guy could download grindr and have a one night stand within the week almost regardless of appearance. There is no reason to add the extra step up completely upending your life and living as a woman...unless you actually wanted to just live as a woman.

This is basically an entirely fake idea that doesn't exist outside of 4chan.

Sad to see young men get into that kind of self hate. It reminds me of gang culture in a way. Not in the violence on the street for turf kind of way but the finding a sense of identity and protection and not being able to get out of it.

It's very unfortunate, because I've seen some instances of some of them 'seeing the light', but the negativity that the folks around them thrive upon pulls them back in.

General thought is that this is a long-term psychological solution that resolves a short-term psychological problem. People aren't willing to look at themselves to change who they are on the inside, so they change themselves on the outside. For people who are "genuinely" transgender, the problem is that the inside doesn't -match- the outside, which is different than changing the outside for the sake of it.

I went and scrolled through the site and I could easily be convinced that its a parody site. The fact that they said they can spread their DNA easier as trans on HRT is The Onion level satire.

If they are cisgender incels and they start HRT and anti-androgens their lives are going to be hell because they are getting the wrong hormones. They will, become even more angry and depressed. The long term effects of willfully ingesting estrogen as cis guys is dangerous.
