Trans females in female sports

Should males at birth who say they are female be allowed to preform in female sports?

I'm a firm believer that every sport - yes every single one - should be co-ed.

And when women are constantly losing and start dropping out of sport faster than they are now... what do you think?

.

No more government funding for ANY sports would quickly resolve this problem and question.

So no high school sports? What about bands or debate teams?

Seems like an arbitrary distinction to me. Should women be separated from all activities in which men (on average) have major biological advantages?

Two simple choices. No ifs, ands, or buts

Disregard the typo
It's not really a binary answer.
Failed poll for being limited.

Each sports organization has eligibility rules. Womens sports org have been dealing with the definition of who is or isn't qualified as a women to participate in their particular sports orgs.

So given they have 100 yrs or more of experience, i say leave to each sports org to determine eligibility rules.
Politicians have no experience and only mess up the world when they get involved.
Leave gov't small and stick to gov't issues.

Who can run or not run in an event is not anything they remotely understand.

Women? Dude, girls will stop playing sports when they are 10 years old.
I guess those that want to co-ed sports have some knitting and cooking
classes for the girls to participate in?

Fans also get to decide
They're only decision is whether they watch and/or participate in said sports.

The organization will make changes if needed if said fans stop showing up.
Fans should not be directly making policy rules.

I believe it is. There is really no grey in the question.

I chose not to hear, "if blah blah", "and blah blah", "but blah blah blah" and gum up the poll with speculation. The question stands as stated. You either think yes or no.
It's a poll that is too limited to get a meaningful take from the poll.

The world is NOT a binary place.

Honest? We all know over 80% are against men beating up and robbing girls.

Yes, I support trans-males and trans females ability to compete in sports of their gender identity providing they obey the rules as to hormones use and living full time.

As it's so binary a decision, I'll have to say no. Some sports may not have a physical or contact element and so there would be no great advantage for someone who was born male but because some sports will have a physical contact element and a physical advantage is likely even after surgery then I'm saying "no."

It is crazy that anybody, much less women want female sports to have men in it... Serena lost to the 200+ ranked man. There are 128 players in a Grand Slam Tournament. That means Zero women will be playing in professional tennis... forever. They will never have a high enough rank to even qualify...that is how much you support women's sports. LOL

We don't need another poll. We know the ansewer.

I mean if anything the gap in physicality between the sexes is the most narrow when they are young, so that doesn't seem like a particularly strong argument.

Hmmmmm.

Wtf
It is not just about physical contact. These guys are stealing roster spots and scholarship money. Playing time.
Good god,think.

They are humans and have equal rights to those spots on the team or scholarships, the same as everyone else.

What are you afraid of happening, that hasn't happened?

Imagine that. A male, at birth, saying he is a female.

Bodi's has the only right answer to your leading question:

Males compete against Males and Females compete against Females.
The person never claimed any identity at birth.
Some other person did. Without any verification of what they are at birth.

Not everything is correct about a person that is only minutes old.

A person misidentified at several minutes old is subject to living an entire decades of life based on a possible misidentifcation?

Why should a decision someone else made years or decades earlier, make a person be someone/thing that it is not actually that person. By a person who has no clue about the person they ID.

I note that you stamped your feet and said no one cares about this issue...and yet despite saying you still defended this position, you didn't actually do so.

Perhaps that was just an oversight, so now is your chance to defend it. Why do you think that male boxers should get in the ring with women and beat them up? Why is this good? Note the question: It's not how much you care, it's not anything about "the base" or whatever political tribe you dislike...it's to defend this policy on its merits. You said that's what you were doing, rather than what I outlined in Phase 2, so by all means go ahead.
Who is actually saying male boxers should get in the ring with female boxers.

I was under the impression, this was more about the transgender athletes. Not the male athletes. Especially in regards to participating in a women's sport.

What guys?
Isn't this thread about transgenders?

Stick to the topic.

Well, the previous poster indignantly declared that he still defended this position, despite not actually defending it. If that's not your position...OK? Not sure why you interjected then.

You don't understand how sport works according to your post.
I'll explain just this once.

Men play men's sports.
Women play women's sports.
Scholarships are given accordingly.

So as you see, they can compete in sport.

Got it?

Correct. No high school sports. You can have intramural type of teams, but none that require any great deal of tax payer funding.

What’s a debate team cost a school? Or a band? X towards an instructor/coach for extra hours outside of contract hours?

Your high school sports don’t get any more than that.

No more of these multimillion dollar stadiums, etc. It is insane and a waste of tax payer dollars when the right is running around and telling us kids can’t read.
