To Those Who Don't Live In The USA, Stop Criticizing Our Gun Rights

Well this thread sure has been a giant bucket of fail for the OP.

There have been a bunch of people who've posted on here who are from countries other than the USA and they like to criticize the USA for having gun rights and they talk about how their country is so much safer since its got much stricter gun laws and much less gun deaths than the USA. Well here is what I have to say to all such people, you can stay in your country and be happy and stop criticizing my country and the fact that there's more in the way of gun rights in my country. Since you don't live here, since you're not an American citizen, how things are done in this country is none of your concern and none of your business. I don't criticize how your country is run, even though I might not agree with how some other countries are run, such as the UK or Japan, that doesn't bother me since they're doing it over there not over here. How you run your country is your business. How the USA is run is not your business and not your call.

I'm not an American and I'm generally the one popping into threads to explain to everyone that we don't have a gun culture here like you do here. The difference between the US and Australia is like night and day when it comes to the Gun Debate. It's ridiculous to even attempt to draw any comparisons. Both sides of the debate try to do this. I've lost count of the times I've actually explained this.

That being said, I think it is beyond hypocritical that you have started this thread considering I have seen you make numerous comments about other Countries in gun related threads.

This was one of your more "special" OP's of late.

People who want more gun control often refer to Australia as an example where they've got much more gun control than the USA. Well that much is true but what makes Australia so great? Australia is not what I would call a developed country or a first world nation.

Lovely. You might want to hop down off that high horse of yours before you hurt yourself.

Well this thread sure has been a giant bucket of fail for the OP.

It's like talking to a bunch of cannibals: you tell them it's wrong because they are hurting people with their freakin' "freedom". They look at you funny and wonder why you would ever want to interfere with their freedom to, say, eat their neighbor whenever they get the munchies, and then declare victory in the debate.

When a culture is deeply ingrained, you are blind to how dysfunctional some of its practices are. And it's not something rational debate can, unfortunately, fix.

Whats the point? Why would I want to make a thread about your country?

You have and you do. Because you enjoy talking nonsense?

that is because they are civilized.

that is because they are civilized.

Civilized, subdued, submissive comrade citizens of brutal governments either oppose gun rights or keep their mouths shut, or else they will have their 'attitudes' adjusted by the goose-stepping thought police in the local (black ops) 'dungeon of reform.'

It's not my country that has people being murdered by the state for exercising a right.

Dropped two atomic bombs.

Another history deprived soul......came eight years after and didn’t save anyone in Nanking.

Post and move out...........

To everybody, please ignore what's quoted above and please ignore post #5.

Why? Who are YOU to say what someone can and cannot post? You are not a dictator here. You don't get to restrict what people say just because you disagree with them.

You can tell that to OrphanSlug.

So why do you love to shoot each other so much? Four 911's worth every year, year in year out.

You'd have to ask the tiny fraction of the populace who prey on the innocent. I have no idea. No one I know has shot anyone.

You ignore evidence. 80% of the illegal shootings in the USA involve felons shooting mostly other felons. homicides involving those who legally owned a firearm are less than 2500 a year-out of 100 million lawful gun owners. What does that work out to? .000025

lawful gun owners aren't a problem

I'm about the only one I know (other than active duty military) who has shot anyone.
It doesn't happen much in the society I grew up in

I'll bet you are more carded for than most by mommy.

The crybabies always are.

Could you rewrite that-it makes no sense as written.

thanks

Many Skipper, Im glad you showed up here. My thread is directed at people such as you. You're from England. I do know England has very strict gun laws. You like it that way? Good. How things are done in your country is your business. How things are done in the USA is none of your concern and none of your business. Since you're over there and not over here I don't see why you would care that we've got gun rights in the USA.
