More rehab programs are probably needed. Some effective programs are independent of prisons. Developing more programs takes initiative. More rehab group leaders are needed. This thread is intended to encourage the development of rehab group leaders.

It puts so much effort into creating IDF terrorists , I don't think it can spare the resources.

Perhaps a side benefit would be for the improved ethics of IDF managers of Palestinian rehab programs.

Effective rehab programs are usually limited to a couple hundred residents per facility. A therapeutic community program model for Moslems with serious criminal backgrounds might be RAP.INC of Washington DC. USA.

CBS News reports that the Saudi government has been funding Terrorist rehabilitation programs, one of which is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Some participants are from al Qaida and ISIS.

More development of the program is needed, because too many Graduates have relapsed.

The concept of a therapeutic community as terrorist/criminal rehabilitation, as an alternative to imprisonment, could work for rehabilitating IDF Jewish soldiers who use excessive force against Palestinians.

The use of rehab as a means for Israelis to have confidence in releasing rehabilitated Palestinians from imprisonment.

On 2/24/2024, Fox Now on youtube quoted PM Netanyahu as proposing that Israel could manage rehabilitation programs for terrorists, after the hostages were returned.

Terrorist rehabilitation programs are not 100 % successful, but given patience, improvements in decreasing terrorist incidents is possible.

Netanyahu mentions sending Hamas militants to other arab countries that have ongoing rehab programs for militants.

Could the process of assigning arrested and imprisoned militants to rehab programs, be done under Israeli supervision?

Could Israel assist in improving employment opportunities for rehabilitated Palestinians when, Palestinian attacks decrease to a manageable level/?

There's an interesting story about how Arafat and Islamist groups would train terrorist, who they'd find became unable to live peacefully society, and they'd have to kill them. Arafat felt that was wrong and looked for other ideas. He came up with the idea of telling Palestinian women they had a patriotic duty to marry them, and it domesticated them leving peacefully. It worked well.

There are 43 Family Therapists listed by Google in Amman, Jordan. Perhaps Family Therapy can be included as part of rehabilitation for Hamas terrorists? Some marriages and families can be improved with counseling.
