Tim Walz Official Who Caused $21,000 In Damages To Teslas Will Face No Criminal Charges, (3 Viewers)

Hate crime based on what? Owning a Tesla isn’t a protected class
A hate crime charge applies if, the key element is that the crime is driven by prejudice against a specific group or characteristic of the victim. The group, would be Tesla owners.

This is the kind of judicial outcome you would expect in a civil suit. A criminal case like this one should should dish out some severe punitive punishments. After all it's not just these Telsa owners that were hurt, rather all Tesla owners feared for their cars and even their own safety.

is your post sarcasm?

Protected class..under law

At the federal level, hate crime laws include crimes committed on the basis of the victim’s perceived or actual race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or disability.

Absolutely nothing ever good come from Walz
An employee in Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s administration will pay the owners of Tesla vehicles that police say he vandalized to avoid criminal charges, an attorney and prosecutor’s office announced Monday.

The office of Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said it will pursue “pre-charge diversion” instead of felony charges against Dylan Adams, a fiscal policy analyst for Walz’s Department of Human Services, Fox 9 reported. Video footage shared by police appeared to show Adams keying six Tesla vehicles around town, marking a trend of attacks stemming from outrage against Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s politics, Minneapolis police said Thursday.
Unbelievable. Talk about corruption.

Lol, Walz's department of human services. The guy work for the state of Minnesota like 50,000 other people.

Don't touch other people's cars.

That being said, maybe they can sell the damaged Teslas in Russia. The election interference farms could put chargers out front.

I doubt we should start charging people for domestic terror for keying a car...
Why? We had no qualms about charging people for walking into a building with a crowd, taking selfies, and then walking out 10 minutes later. Terrorizing innocent civilians simply because of the car they bought a while back seems worse.

How many cars did he key that were not caught on tape. I'm betting this asshole vandalized more than 6 Teslas.

It's always fun listening to MAGAs try to downplay the 1/6 Sedition.

Given that Teslas have cameras all over the place, likely zero.

It's always fun listening to leftists try to summarize a post they clearly didn't understand.
No, your point was well understood. It's just your TDS coming out again.

Is "Tim Walz's administration" paying for those Teslas out of public money, or out of contributions made to either that of Walz's supporters and/or The Democrat Party? If the latter, I suppose there's no issue, since Dem voters may well be OK with having their hard-earned money used to bail out this loser. But if the admin is paying for the vehicles, then there's no practical reason not to charge Adams, since some of the rationale was to make sure that he can keep working in order to make restitution.

Walz didn’t do this or tell anyone to do it
True. But did Walz make it possible for this loser to avoid the consequences of his actions? If so, it speaks to the continued attempts of Mad Libs to shield anyone who breaks the law, as long as their rhetoric supports the Left.
