Thoughts on the press conference?

this IS whistleblowing
an insider is telling the public what other insiders are trying to conceal from the public
joe is devolving into senility
NOPE.....whispering your complaints about a political campaign is not whistleblowing. Its subterfuge. One should just resign from a political campaign if he or she has lost confidence in the candidate.

You whistleblow on companies or on agencies of government, not political campaigns.

when liberal CNN is posting how Biden is failing ... Biden is FAILING badly
CNN is not a liberal news source. Its now where you go for provocation and the Channel is an equal opportunity provocateur now. Has been since new management took over.

Add to that ......News media is all about reporting chaos now. They love chaos. Show them a chaos candidate and he or she will get the airtime.

The whistleblower told us insider information we would not know but for their concealed position within the administration.

This is much like Deepthroat, offering insider information during the Watergate investigation

That was an odd tone change from creepy whisper.

Biden absolutely does have a command and understanding of foreign policy. He appeared knowledgeable & cognizant during the press conference.

But you're absolutely right in that his delivery often comes across as a too-old of an old man, with odd whispering, deer-in-the-headlights stares, too low of speaking volume, odd volume swells, odd cadences and pauses, and other odd responses that may be attempts at humour but come-off as really weird.

He just simply is too old, and shows it.

His stuttering hurts. His reference to VP tRump was bad.
His responses to the press pool have been pretty decent in content, but his delivery is awkward at times.
He seems to have a grasp on the numbers in Ukraine, and how he tried to rally nations together before tRumps hero invaded Ukraine.
I have greater faith in the team the Biden puts together and their core values than anything the tRump could ever do. No decent person would want to be in tRump's cabinet after seeing what happened to those that served in his first cabinet.

While the bolded is true, that team will never be in a position to govern if the candidate can't sell himself to the American public in a manner to allow him to ascend to Office.

This is the problem. Nothing else matters at this point. It's win the election or bust!

The sniveling cowardly whispering campaign operatives should resign and then yammer to their hearts content.

Deep threat was an FBI agent informing WAPO of the CRIMES he uncovered and seen and felt unable to pursue within the FBI itself. He felt unsupported within the Agency.

Is Biden's insistence on staying in a political campaign a Federal CRIME?

He also has a command of domestic issues which he also demonstrated last night.

D leaders are apparently going to march up to the WH and try to persuade Biden that he has to step aside. Personally I am fine with that.

I don't think Biden stepping out is in the best interests of the D party or the country but if they convince him to step aside, I am OK with that my opinion be damned.

I see Biden's current trajectory as destined to lose. And I really don't see how he can change it.

Now that this ruckus occurred, I believe Biden's losing path has been further solidified. Quite honestly, now there may no longer be any choice but to replace him.

I have dealt with a few relatives with dementia, senility, and Alzheimer's. Biden is slowing mentally, but based on what I'm seeing in this telecast, his mental facilities are pretty good. He has a good grasp on current events, isn't stuck in reminiscing loops, makes eye contact.
Yes, age has dulled him a bit. But his core being is still very alive and present and in control.

His core abilities seemed intact during the press conference, but I'm not sure they don't waiver. I.e., his good-days/bad-days.

In addition, his physical delivery is absolutely horrid. At times he comes-across as weird & decrepit.

Someone close to Biden has to find a way to convince him that legacy, ambition, country and history are all best served if he decides the path of Cincinnatus is better for him than that of following Trump down 'I Alone Can Save You' Boulevard.

Well they can't just throw him off the back of the truck. Bernie at the last minute barely saved the D Party from ripping itself apart in 2020.

One big Dif between the D's and the R's is that the D's with their "big tent" are always one step away from ripping themselves apart and the R's are always one step away from totally coalescing.

He’s old and it’s possible he wouldn’t make it through a second term, just as Trump could drop dead from heart attack. But at this moment, he’s perfectly capable of running the country.

Probably true. But is he capable of winning the campaign to place himself in Office? That, is the question at stake.

Well,

"competition improves the breed"

This is the blaring difference between the Dems and Reps. Dems see problems with Biden and are angst ridden about what to do about it. Republicans are sticking with the orangemanbad and deliberately staying in denial about the worthless sack of shit.

The Democrats denied denied denied and stayed in denial until they couldn’t because the skeletons started tumbling out of the closet. The Republicans have a candidate who will win this election by a landslide. They’re not concerned. Meanwhile, the Democrats have boxed themselves into a loss with their malfeasance in hiding what Joe really is for so long.

It's getting close to 1 in 10 Congressional (House) Democrats calling for Biden to decline the nomination. Cannot be ignored.

And with that said at the end of the people whisperer's press conference, "God save the Queen, man". Lol

I echo the sentiments of Ben Shapiro who X'd,

"He started off rough and he’s still having rough patches…but this is good enough to keep him in the race. Which is terrible news for Democrats and excellent news for Trump."
Okay, I'll accept Shapiro's opinion, how about you? Did he do well enough to stay in the race?

Note, I only asked one question. Answer it.

I believe it's possible removing Biden has now become (perhaps inadvertent) fait accompli.

The point of no return may have been hit. They may have damaged Biden beyond repair. There may be no choice any longer, but to replace him or accept the loss.
