As long as the person who made the error catches it, it's not a cognitive slip. Brain fart, perhaps, but not a cognitive slip, which is serious. In this case, he got the files crosslinked. Happens to us all.

Same, both my parents suffered from it and Biden shows no signs of it IMO.

The good: Joe showed he has a command of international politics and issues that Trump will never have. Joe seemed reasonable in his answers when I could understand him.

I trust him much more with the nuclear football than I would Trump.

The bad: He's slowed down significantly. His speech was slurred at times, and I struggled to understand what he was saying frequently. He got names wrong a couple of times.

I think it's a push. The presser neither hurt nor helped him.

biden had earlier been asked what suggestions would he have for the european NATO members if tRump were re-elected and proceeded to dismantle the NATO alliance
and joe pointed out that euro NATO partners - as well as nations like japan - being able to expand their arms industry would be a positve approach and one that had been broached during this NATO meeting
what biden did not articulate, but allowed the listener to read/hear between the lines, was if tRump cuts off munitions needed by NATO members, they would be well served to be positioned to manufacture their own, instead of being overly reliant on a tRump-led USA

What was so terrible?

It was a boring press conference.....which is how presidential press conferences always were before Trump. It was boring because Biden is a competent president.

Biden did a good job showing off his foreign policy knowledge. And anybody who says otherwise is just being overly critical.

Biden cannot speak off the top of his head......it's gone, long gone. "Cheat sheets, reporters on the take, prepared questions rehearsed".....yeah, democrat party in a nutshell.

In other words - exactly what Trump says. It’s not that they aren’t capable of providing for their own defense but they don’t do it because they have no motivation to unlatch from the golden teat of the American taxpayer.
 
I’m judging based on betting odds as I find a lot of people too dug in to their side.

Went to 10/1 after calling Zelensky Putin

After press conference 15/2

So press conference I’m giving as overall positive

IMO it was not bad at all. Biden did a terrific job.

As I have said time and time again, Biden fumbling names and spewing gaffes is something he has done publicly for 35 years. Its unremarkable and only meaningful to those that don't wish Biden well. It's literally childish to start threads about or yammer on about if as if it means anything.
 
After tonight's press conference, let's all agree, the only thing we have left is laughter because for sure, Biden made sure to tell us he's not going anywhere. :ROFLMAO: :eek: :LOL:

Can't wait for the next debate.
