One consultant used biometric voice analysis on the call, using computers to compare recordings of Zimmerman's voice and the 911 call. The software gave the voices a 48% match, well below the 90% needed to be the same. "As a result of that, you can say with reasonable scientific certainty that it's not Zimmerman," he says.
Trayvon Martin did not deserve to die.
And former Florida Governor Jeb Bush thinks Zimmerman should be arrested.
Republican Jeb Bush Wants Zimmerman Arrested | Global Grind
Jeb said:
“This law does not apply to this particular circumstance… Stand your ground means stand your ground. It doesn’t mean chase after somebody who’s turned their back.”
I listened to the tape. Sounds like a kid to me, not a full grown adult. Unless that adult has Helium vocal cords.
Since noone knows exactly what happened it seems to me Bush is running his mouth for publicity and saying whats popular. But I suppose if a Bush said it it must be true huh?
As the Trayvon Martin controversy splinters into a debate about self-defense, a central question remains: Who was heard crying for help on a 911 call in the moments before the teen was shot?
A leading expert in the field of forensic voice identification sought to answer that question by analyzing the recordings for the Orlando Sentinel.
His result: It was not George Zimmerman who called for help.
Perhaps the SPD and regular citizens have different obligations in this case. So, why are these experts talking to the media and not the cops?

Just guessing. w/e
They were probably contracted by the Orlando Sentinel to take a look at it.
Personally, I am still of the opinion that you can't accurately make this determination using someone frantically screaming and comparing it to someone talking normal.
If you back your opinion up with appropriate data, I'd be willing to agree with you.I'm of the opinion that, for the most part, voice forensics is more akin to voodoo than forensics.
Afaict, it actually IS the job of the media to investigate.Last time I checked, it's not the job of the media, with the help of private citizens, to investigate and presecute other citizens.
Well that's interesting. If it were Trayvon it seems that would suggest that by the time he was shot he was no longer a threat to Zimmerman, meaning self defense is a harder sell.
So, why are these experts talking to the media and not the cops?
Really, why do you think this proves he was no threat?
just send this damn thing to trial, like the Sanford police wanted.
then we'll get all the answers.
