The movie is one of my favs called 'The Rundown.' Imagine taking a few bong rips on some Kush, a lil X, then taking shrooms, drinking 4 expresso's and seeing things lose perspective in size, shape and color. Using your fingers to leave trails in the air, it's some freaky deeky. Very funny vid clip, though the end is where it shines. :)

Remember Window Pane? I did a 4-way hit and two bong rips that sent me to the Laughing Academy at 20. By far the most potent, mind bending trip I was ever on. Found God and flew thru the sun- it's a portal to heaven. ;)

Yeah, I dosed with window pane, purchased in Gainesville FL 1973. I managed that trip reasonably well. The Orange Barrel, at age 15, almost took me over the edge! I left a group of friends at night in an AAMCO Transmission shop after one of the guys kept turning on drills and equipment. The sound flipped me out! I hitchhiked over to our local pool hall. The owner seemed unfazed and unaware of my extreme buzz. Outside, I could see the ultra-blue haze around the city electric wires. I went home and my older brother started screwing with me. He knew the time of day. All a grin now! My mom's oil paintings looked like indiscriminate goey blobs! In the morning, no sleep, I went to work. In those days, I drove a delivery truck for a very busy florist.

Thank you God for letting me live! For the sake of my marriage, I went clean May 5, 2014. I still enjoy the memories. At age 64, I just don't see any gain on dosing anymore.
 
I watched it with the sound off. That seems like someone didn't eat enough acid.

Yea baby. I had done milder stuff, like Microdots a low-dose of Blotter Acid, but nothing like Window Pane. The walls were breathing and the ceiling dripping, I really lost my Fritos. Orange Sunshine from Cali was even more popular.

We think it's all exciting when we're young and dumb but they had strong drugs when were growing up. Quaaludes, Placidils, Percs - none of this loony Bath Salts shit. Gainsville University was hippy head high back then as a party school. 🤪

There is a Konlabos fruit, also called cherimoya, that does not paralyze or trip you out.
The movie made that up, though there are some wicked plants out there.

Never had the experience, but I've seen friends on Windowpane. They were tripping their asses off, pupils big as saucers!

I had one good friend bang on my door at 2:00 freaking A.M., run past me without a word, down the stairs into the basement, and into the basement bedroom locking the door behind him, where I eventually found him hiding under the bed afraid to come out - after I finally forced the damn lock! He was a total nutcase until well after sunrise, where I then threw him out, only to find he went straight to another buddy of ours and pulled the same shit! And get this: He still talks about it, all these years later!

Along with Reds, Tui's, and a plethora of serious prescription speed, it's a miracle anyone made it out of 1970! Especially, with the damn barbs. In fact, sadly some of us didn't (make it out). Something I never forget, and never fails to sadden me. Young naïve kids, looking for excitement & thrills. Always a dangerous recipe. There, but for the grace of God, go I . . .

I was walking around a park completely blotto when some cops put me in the back seat. They knew I was tripping, so they starting making crazy faces and laughing like hell. They finally let me go, a couple of real assholes. Then another time, I went to a friend's party and to the bathroom. For some reason, I thought I was never gonna stop peeing so I ran out of the apartment with my schmeckle hanging out peeing all over the place.

Acid is weird shit. There's very little fun about it.

Reds, Goofies, Yellow Jackets, Black Beauties, Phenobarbitol, I remember them well. We were spoiled little lunatics, though sadly I lost many a friend. I have a crazy high tolerance to chems and booze, not a good thing, and by grace...

But for many if not most, it was just an experiment ending with - "Holy Shit, this shit is POWERFULL!" "WHAT the FUG did I DO?"

One of my suppliers was a doctor. Who knew? Back in the late '90s, my back went out and I ended up in a pill mill. Opioids are one of the worse withdrawals I have ever gone thru. Don't get me started on Benzos, no wonder I'm fookin crazy. 🤪

Whether false or true, "The Teachings of Don Juan" by Carlos Casteneda was my guide.
So every trip I took, I took as a semi-spiritual journey.
Psychedelics are what broke me out of the windowless concrete room that was my mind as an Aspie kid.

PS: I never screwed with the industrial pill thing, just acid, shrooms or peyote, that's it.
And sure enough, the moment I veered away from acid spirituality I wound up at the altar of cocaine, which of course did become my undoing.

My years in Gainesville at the University of Florida required task-oriented discipline to graduate. From time to time, I stayed away from drugs and alcohol while focusing on certain goals, for instance, hiking the Appalachian Trail 2100 miles in 1981. I stayed straight during months of training, 2/3rds of the way hiking.... Springer Mountain Georgia to Delaware Water Gap, PA/NJ line. I partied from there to Mt. Katahdin ME. Now, almost every year I spend part of a month in the fall in the Berkshires.

Since going straight in 2014, slowly but surely my income and net worth increased significantly, in part, because I stay focused, generate income in a field I enjoy and began learning as a teenager. I work as an independent real estate broker. This year started with a bang!
