The World Series (part of our national pastime) features a team from Los Angeles and a team from Canada. Which stadium/game will trump visit?

I guess he kind of had to then.
He's still going to pay a price.

The fact Canadians usually prefer to ignore politics does not lessen the fact the nation is pissed as a nit for having let him trod on pristine Canadian soil!

Carney is blessed by the fact his alternative is so unacceptable he doesn't need to care about image.

When the **** is the Canadian right going to get the message - we don't want America in Canada?

More importantly, Canada hates Trump.

He doesn't have the balls nor the manpower to come here safely.
We would conduct ourselves in a manner consistent with his safety......but it woul be an unpleasant welcome

If you guys cussed Trump's motorcade would it sound like Frances McDormand in Fargo??

"You guys"!!!!

Nothing in this hemisphere sounds like Frances McDormand in Fargo.

The truth is that JUST LIKE USA language and accent vary across the country. One third of Canadians don't speak English - they speak French. So no. Further, you are unlikely to be able to understand a Newfoundlander as they have a recognized language of their own.

But the ignorance level of Americans is always good to know

That's too bad. I loved her accent in that movie.

Then drop into Minnesota. The closer to the border the more they sound like that.

An invisible line called the 49th parallel creates an entirely different language on the other side!

Oh god.

Every over done meme from 2,000 years ago Eh?

You know what. I never hear anyone say "eh" at the end of sentences anymore.

But lets have more and more and more stereotypes. It's easy to pretend eh...for the tourists eh?

With Canada a short road trip away (by Texas standards), I plan to spend a lot of time there.

He will be booed so he won't go to either. He might instead complain about it and threaten to move the World Series.

Why does this matter?

Pick a team and be for it. As much as I don't like the Dodgers, (am a Padre fan), I won't be rooting for a country who hates our president.

So you aren’t actually a Padres fan. Hardly a shocker.

Most of our country hates our President.
