The Washington Post finally admits it's Hunter's laptop, too

Only someone to the left of Mao would consider The Hill to be a "conservative rag." And, the fact that a liberal was selected at the impeachment trial should tell how ridiculous the whole charade was. He's the man Democrat Congressmen would call in to testify when they needed a liberal libertarian to explain the Constitution to Republicans. Republicans brought him in to show Democrats how stupid they were being. He also stated under oath that he did not vote for Trump during the impeachment trial. He's an anti-Trumper who was a common guest on Maddow and publicly called for Republican administration officials to be brought up on war crimes.
You're right about it not being conservative. For some reason I had it in my head they were, but I was thinking of Townhall. My bad.

Excellent, then go write an OP to talk about those "important" things and stop trying to thread-jack this one. Some of us would like to know if the sitting President of the United States may have taken bribes earlier in his political career because, well, we kind of think that's important, too.
But there is absolutely no proof of that. That is pure speculation and fantasy by Republicans desperate to find something, anything, on Biden. It's story telling.

I, on the other hand. have been talking about actual events. The DOJ is expanding its probe into the Jan. 6 insurrection. Trump did call Putin a "smart, savvy genius," and he did ask Putin for help digging up dirt on our President.

What do you have? Wishful thinking and a fictional story.

What's more important? Fact or Fiction?

Give it up while you're behind.

BTW, I have written about it.

A report card on the Biden administration

Why do I want to read an opinion piece from a right winger?
From Wiki:

Personal life[edit]

Turley married his wife, Leslie, in 1997.[100][101] He is a close friend of former attorney general William Barr.[102]

I had no idea. It explains a lot, though.
There's a current forum member who was in one of Turley's classes at GW, I believe.

No, it’s not.

Justice can work on multiple fronts. You’re fabricating a false choice.

Hunter Biden literally saying he gives his father half is lobbying earnings. That text is not fiction.

What possible relevance is Biden’s “report card” to this conversation?

OK.....you have repeated that so many times it is no longer an untruth...it is a lie. At no point I that text to his daughter dies Hunter say it was money earned through lobbying. He mentions nothing about when or why. Time to put facts, not suppostion, on the table. Show us exactly where Hunter says the money he paid back to his Dad was from his lobbying fees.

He earns much of his living from lobbying. Do you really not know that?

It's not clear how calling Putin a genius is evidence of a crime.

It's also true that H. Biden penchant in scoring big paydays in authoritarian and corrupt countries where his father wielded influence over American policy is not necessarily evidence of a crime either. But it is curious.

Yep. He knows it's a lie.

Odd that his piece is in a conservative rag, and that he was a witness for Republicans in Trump's impeachment trial.
Ah. So now we know Jonathan Turley is one more topic you know nothing about but have an opinion on anyway. I bet that list is endless.
Have you read his article yet?
Hahaha...no, I won't be running away. I've seen your ridiculous posts, you're no judge of character.
I predicted every move you made. Sounds like I'm a good judge of your character.
But truth be told, the refusal to educate oneself by bitching about a source is not the least bit unique among lefties so it wasn't difficult to predict yours.
A serious person would do the reading to look for something they can show is false. A frightened partisan would refuse.
I think we already know, but you can confirm it ... which are you?

Shame you have to inform some people about what they should know before they talk about it.
But that's what we're dealing with.

What, pray tell, will be new in Turley's opinion piece? Just name one single point I don't already know...

Hunter Biden was selling access to try to influence US government policy. This is a known fact. His contact appears to be "The Big Guy." The "Big Guy" and Joe Biden happened to be at the same exact dinner banquet overseas at the same exact time. Who else does Hunter Biden know in the US government know would allow him to be a broker to gain access? It's either Joe Biden or someone who follows him in his inner circle who attended the dinner with him. But, if it were a Biden staffer why would he be called the "Big Guy" and why would people pay for access to such a person? Individual Senators and Congressmen don't have the power that these people would want to influence and doesn't follow their MO when they bribed relatives of foreign leaders in Europe for the same lobbying efforts. When you engage deductive reasoning skills there is no logical conclusion here other than Joe Biden. This doesn't mean it is 100% Joe Biden, but we'd be beyond stupid if we didn't make that assumption and begin investigating it to get to the bottom of it. If not for nothing it's very bad optics to have the son of the President with a history of selling access to foreign leaders. It compromises the office of the Presidency.

I don't read opinion pieces unless I am interested in them. Just like I don't watch long videos just because someone suggests I should. If you can show me something that is new, then maybe I'll look.

And Sandy, there's this ...
“Come on H this is linked to Celtic’s account.” Those nine words from a retired Secret Service agent to Hunter Biden in recently released emails may prove a nasty complication for some in Washington who have struggled to contain the blowback from the still-unfolding scandal linked to Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.
“Celtic” was the Secret Service code name for Joe Biden, ... The emails link President Biden to his son’s accounts and indicate a commingling of funds with money coming from controversial foreign sources. Even more embarrassing, the shared account may have been used to pay a Russian prostitute named “Yanna.”
The commingling of funds is the latest contraction of President Biden’s repeated claims that he was unaware and uninvolved in past dealings by his son.
...
Most notable are the new emails from Eric Schwerin, his business partner at the Rosemont Seneca consultancy, referencing the payment of household bills for both Joe Biden and Hunter Biden. He also notes that he was transferring money from Joe Biden. If true, the communications indicate that some of President Biden’s personal expenses were paid out of shared accounts with Hunter, including accounts that may have been used to pay for prostitutes. Rosemont Seneca is directly involved in the alleged influence peddling schemes and questionable money transfers from Chinese and Russian sources.
Story telling? Helluva story, innit?

I repeat, there is no proof of Biden taking a bribe. Self-serving statements and emails from those who want to perpetuate this myth do not count.

Let me know when this matter becomes official, as in prosecutors, courts, or Congressional investigation. Up until then it is all a fantasy by Republicans who are trying to weaken our President while he fighting a horrific war in Ukraine against Russia.

Hm-m-m, maybe that explains it.

Where are you from?

So what you're saying is you don't think it has anything worth reading, else you'd be able to share at least one point you think is worth sharing.

There is an investigation which centers around H Biden.
And there are claims being made that he would give money to his father from these deals.
And yes, maybe it's not illegal for both parties to do so.

Keep in mind, despite the AF2 trips together and the pics with Hunter's business partners Joe said he never talked with Hunter about his business so he knew nothing.
So Sandy, can you slap a sanguine context around any of Hunter-laptop emails that have been reported like those in the comment you replied to?
There was a story just today about Joe writing a college recommendation for the son of one of Hunter's Chinese business partners.
Pretty weird for a guy who knows nothing.
