He's right. Harris was not a Border Czar. But her silence during the campaign concerning the responsibilities she was assigned would certainly indicate a lack of achievement. That is puzzling.

What role did she play in a June 2022 agreement with 19 other Western Hemisphere countries dealing with immigration? And, how will Trump's administration build upon it? Quite possibly, more than border enforcement, that 2022 agreement may be responsible for the drop in recent illegal border crossings.

The agreement, formally known as the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection, centers on stabilizing communities in Latin America, expanding lawful means of immigration, bolstering "humane" border enforcement across the region and collaborating on responses to the displacement of people.

The rate of border crossings at the end of Trump's administration was X. Almost immediately after Biden took office, the rate was 4X. After 3 1/2 years, Biden reduced that rate to 2X. He takes credit for cutting the rate by 1/2, the lowest rate of crossings in 3 years. To wrap up, the very best that Biden and Harris could do, was 2X, or double Trump's rate of illegal aliens breaking the law.

We have to give Biden credit for succeeding in enticing millions of immigrants to break the law. And, it all falls into Biden and Harris' laps.
