The United States and the World can not take the risk whether Iran has a Nuke or Not

Again. Doing nothing is unacceptable risk. Democrats know how you should never let an opportunity go to waste.
Yet nothing like this has been done since 1992 when Netanyahu first warned of Iran being capable of producing nuclear weapons. He's been running his "DEY'S GOTZ NUKES IN 2 WEEKS!" tour for years since and they still do not have them.. The question becomes whether Netanyahu's full of it, just like he was when he supported the idea Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and was also developing nuclear weapons. How many nuclear weapons did we find after the invasion?
🤭

What would you say about North Korea? Pakistan? China? Russia? They anywhere from hundreds to thousands. Iran doesn't even have one.
That’s the point. It’s unacceptable risk for them to have just “one”

It's an acceptable risk that other adversaries have hundreds to thousands of nuclear weapons.

But if Iran has "just one" nuclear weapon, that is an unacceptable risk.

This makes no sense.

Talk is cheap. Iran possesses enough non nuclear WMDs to cause immense damage to Israel— why haven’t they used them, if your narrative were true?

Iran will fold like a cheap suit.

I wonder why their "friends" - Russia and North Korea aren't sending in backup?

You’re pretending that nothing has happened since 1992 to delay it.

Gee, Iran hasn’t done any such thing despite endless attempts by the West thus far

Again, you’re cool with them letting you know when they pop one off in Israel. We can’t take that risk.

It’s unacceptable
What evidence is there that Iran would do that considering they've had the ability to attack Israel with missiles all of this time but have not?

It is no secret that Democrats don’t have a backbone.

“On 27 March 1952, a package addressed to Chancellor Adenauer exploded in the Munich Police Headquarters, killing one Bavarian police officer, Karl Reichert.[72] Investigations revealed the mastermind behind the assassination attempt was Menachem Begin, who would later become the Prime Minister of Israel.[73] Begin had been the commander of Irgun and at that time headed Herut and was a member of the Knesset. His goal was to put pressure on the German government and prevent the signing of the Reparations Agreement between Israel and West Germany, which he vehemently opposed.[74] The West German government kept all proof under seal in order to prevent antisemitic responses from the German public.”

And that isn’t even getting into Begin’s actions during the latter half of World War Two or during the late 1940s and early 1950s.
Barely a step up from a wall of AI text.

From "never negotiate with terrorists" to "let them have nukes." Holy shit.

Actually we negotiated with a terrorist who brought down a Pan-Am flight a few days before Christmas 1988 and he eventually gave up his nuclear weapons program, without ever being invaded and occupied by US forces. All indications were that Iran was serious about negotiations of giving up weapons-grade enrichment. Then this happened.

Its unacceptable risk.

The point of no return has been crossed.

The United States needs to finish this. We must reach a confidence level to where we can reasonably conclude Iran does hot have a nuclear weapon or the capacity to make one any time soon.

What say you. Is it worth the risk to do nothing?

It's my understanding that the U.S.A. is not doing "nothing." Trump has authorized U.S. Air Forces to interdict Iranian missile and air counter-strikes into Isreal. No problem with that.

As for joining Israel in this aggressive action? I say no. It's one thing to help protect an ally, quite another to join it in a war it started.

I served in the U.S. Army for 10 years and still have a reserve commission as a Captain. I'd have no problem with returning to active service in defense of the USA. But I do have issues with aggression, since we are supposed to be the "good guys."

It’s five sentences. The idea that that’s a “wall” of text is comical.

But hey, way to admit Israel did, in fact, elect a terrorist PM….and nobody started bombing them over it.

Oh yeah. How is that going?

Well that regime became extinct. Really not sure what your point is, though, because the more important point is that Libya never developed nuclear weapons. We didn't need to violate international law and risk being sucked into a war we can't afford to achieve that, either. Really surprised by your comments. Your posts are usually more thoughtful.

Israel has always taken the lead against Iran.
Except they need a willing muppet to help out, which is what they haven't had in terms of attacking Iran in this manner. Even under administrations eager to get rid of the Iranian regime, the idea of starting a war with Iran seemed like a bad idea. Then again, we seem to be in a time of bad ideas.

Everyone is a disappointment these days.

You have a very short memory.

Yeah, but we're in far less reasonable times now and the yahoos have control of the wheel, which is why I think things will get much worse before they get better.

Yeah, we heard that macho tough-guy shit as we were trying to convince you all not to push us into a war with Iraq, and it was only the most disastrous foreign policy decision we've ever made. We still haven't really recovered from it, and yet here you all are cheerleading for us to get into another war with an adversary that, flawed though they may be, has the potential to turn this conflict into an even bigger cluster**** than Iraq was.
