The Scale of the Universe

If size were relative to importance in the universe we fall a little shy there. But then again what's the universe without particles?

Well it also depends on what you consider important in the universe, us or a bunch of rocks and stars. Also if there is other life.....

It's all important because we couldn't have evolved without it. Though I find conscious life of more immediate value.

Just remarking on the extreme scale reference. Between a galaxy and particle or insect and blue whale we fall somewhere in the middle.

We seem less than a molecule compared to the largest star.
 
i've seen this, and i really like it. puts things in perspective.
