As opposed to their love for Russia.

Europe: Free press, fair elections, equal rights, sane leaders

Russia: Murder political opponents, rigged elections, despot

Ah, I think I see it.

Ah, I think I see it.

Strawman alert.

The right hates Europe.

Whats your point in posting such rhetorical threads on a debate forum?

It think that you need to calm down and stop spewing nonsense like "the right hates Europe and loves Russia".

Ah, I think I see it.

Why is Europe buying Russian oil, and not standing by their agreement of 2% towards their responsibilities in NATO?

Nonesense ?

The Senate recently HAD to pass a BIPARTISAN message of support for NATO due to Trumps schizophrenic rhetoric.

You can hand wave the thread away for all I care, but the OP does have justification for such worries, as did the Senate.

Because with Trump as president, America is a worthless ally?

With preparations for Trump's UK visit building, the US Embassy in London has advised Ameircans in the UK to "keep a low profile" WTF People are anti Trump, not anti-American! The couple of Americans I know will be very high-profile, protesting loudly alongside the natives!

I think you know better than this.

If Russia rolled into the Europe Union countries tomorrow, we would be there in hours if not minutes.

Do I? A couple of short years ago I would have. To be fair, though, a couple years ago I would never have imagined America walking way from talks with it's allies regarding Iran, starting trade wars with all it's best allies, and demonizing Canada.

Strange days, brother... And one thing to be clear about: Don't say we, I'm talking about one man, who sadly controls the rest of you. With him in charge, nothing is certain...and actions suggest something other than what I would have thought or believed about America for approximately 38 of my 40 years. America, at the moment, is a terrible basket to put one's eggs in.

The point is for decades Russia/USSR wouldn't have dared to roll into Western Europe. But now with Trump attacking our Allies daily while praising Putin to the point that the Senate figured it had to step in. I can understand how our Allies would now worry a bit that a crazy man like Putin might get the idea now would be a good time to push further West.

Doesn't the simple fact that the "message" had bipartisan Senate support indicate that 'the right' does not hate Europe/NATO? The absolute nonsense that Trump represents the thinking of all of those on 'the right' is pure BS.

The 2% agreement doesn't come into force until 2030, so no one is not standing by the agreement. If you try fact-checking, you'll find that the GOP and Trump are lying to you regularly.

The GOP needs to stand up to Trump or the American people will elect those that can in Nov.

They were doing that long before Trump took the presidency.

I think Trump needs to concentrate less on America's enemies such as Canada and Mexico, and focus more on it's allies such as North Korea and Russia.

They were doing that long before Trump took the presidency.

Yup...and there were different reasons before. But that's the reason now... Anything that could have been worked through with Europe under a better president will have to wait until you have a better president.

Why is Europe buying Russian oil,

Because it's right next door.

and not standing by their agreement of 2% towards their responsibilities in NATO?

Because it's an arbitrary number that just gets tossed around but looks good for PR so everyone hops on it.

The Right doesn't hate Europe. I think we see what many countries are doing to their culture and people, and disagree with it.

It's no use talking to these people; they do not get the concept that words from any POTUS are taken very seriously around the planet.

There are just to many brain dead Americans that just do not get it.

Trump can talk all of the **** he wants, all while damaging relations with our allies, and fostering the idea & image of sucking up to our adversaries.

Trump is creating chaos all around the planet & Trump's enablers still don't get it; they lick his ass all while they say, "more, we want more"

Ah, I think I see it.

I think a good majority of them have never been to Europe, or even have a passport. Nothing like willful ignorance...

Why else then does your boi insult Europe while carrying Putin's water?

And, if you don't agree with it, why do you (the Right) not hold Trump's feet to the fire and tell him to knock it off?

But of course, a better President would not have been so gauche as to point out European recalcitrance or hypocrisy to force any changes. A better president goes along to get along.
