The Rich Aren't Getting Richer

Re: Asking the rich to 'pay a little more'

more of that class envy again

then again you already said that the wealth of the rich can be taken whenever your dem masters have the desire to do so

You obviously hate both the majority of the American people and our system of government.

But you do a fine job of serving your rich masters who get you to carry their water for them and empty the pot once filled. An in exchange for that servitude they give you a few more scraps underneath their banquet table. Hope that works for you.

I want people to be independent and prosperous.. its better for America and its better for me-it means less parasites suckling on the public teat-a teat that people like me do most of the work paying for.

you hate americans because you want them to be dependent on your dem masters an addicted to the entitlements your masters push

Keep telling yourself that.

For 33 years I taught government. Now I get to do government as Chief of Staff for a State Representative that I helped get elected. The person I work for was a former student of mine twenty years ago. For a teacher, this is a dream come true in more than one way.

I would not expect you to understand that nor appreciate the wonder of it all.

yep, you have a master

Re: Asking the rich to 'pay a little more'

How does the hand of yours taste?

that makes no sense. have you ever made money that was not from the tax payers?

Turtle - your masters are the Coporatists and the political servants The Republican Party. You serve them, you defend them, you carry their water for them. If you want to personally attack my and my profession - one that I am proud of and will not shirk or back down from no matter how much hate and vitriol you spew at me - then everyone has a master - you included.

Yes - I owned and operated my own publishing company for many years and made a good deal of money from that. Plus I have created and written books and made money from that also. As we speak I am working with a Top ten author on a new book which will be out before the end of the year and will be quite lucrative financially. And none of that has anything to do with anything. Making money only proves one can make money. I have and do that and will continue to do that. It really is not a big thing.

the difference is I don't want or need one and not only do you love being a pawn, you want to spread your misery upon other people

you are much like Aesop's fox--a creature that had lost its beautiful tail and whined about it and then tried to convince all the other foxes ought to cut their tails off. the creature tried to convince his better endowed foxes that tails were ugly and heavy et al and they ought to join him as tail free. IN reality he hated being the only fox without a tail and wanted others to be maimed as he was

MISERY CRAVES COMPANY was the moral of that tail

and there are two reasons why people push the dem agenda of dependency

either they want more pawns or they are a pawn an want company in their misery.

you seem to ooze envy-are you unsuccessful and blame the rich for your lot in life

the rich pay more than their fair share-its time slackers start paying for what they want and use and stop living off the subsidies given to them

No they don't. This has been proven wrong to you several times.

Re: Asking the rich to 'pay a little more'

ah now some background for your bitterness

And once again you show your heartless behind:roll:

Sell options against your current stock holding. lets you own a stock that is trading around 20, but you want to sell it for 30. Select a "strike price" of 30" and you will sell a put contract for a specific date in the future exapmple January 2012. You will then get paid the day you open the options contract a few dollars cash.
[emphasis added]

I think you mean "sell a call contract,' don't you? Your later reference which starts with "IMPORTANT..." gets it right.

No they don't. This has been proven wrong to you several times.

If the rich are not paying their fair share in your view, what tax rate would be fair?

Re: Asking the rich to 'pay a little more'

many middle class people and some of the poor aspire to become successful. They do not want a system that punishes the successful people they hope to become

dems win elections by convincing many people that they will never become rich and shouldn't make the effort to do so

You are so full of it! Dems win elections based on Hope and the fact that the poor you seem to have such disdain over can reach higher!

No, it hasn't been proven to anyone except those that are pre-disposed to believe it in the first place. If it had been "proven" this discussion would most likely not be taking place and the legislative morass surrounding taxes would be greatly simplified - politicians being politicians, there would still most likely be disagreement, but not on this specific aspect.

And most posts you make are full of class superiority when it is clear the only thing about you that is superior? Is Nothing. A bigfat Nothing.

No they don't. This has been proven wrong to you several times.

no one has proven that claim you made

do you claim

1) that the top 1 percent make more of the income than their share of the income tax burden?

2) that the top one percent have more of the total probated wealth than their share of the death tax

3) that the top one percent use more than 40% of the services paid for by the income tax or more than 98% of the services paid for by the death taxes

so tell us what is the fair share for those who make 22% of the income to pay in federal income taxes

delusion alert. HOPE AND CHANGE-the call to the weakminded and the foolish

You are so very amusing. You do not have any masters? You are a slave to the Conservative Party and you are doing a really good job at it too.

the only way I claim to be superior is that I

1) pay far more in taxes than I use

2) I don't ask others to pay for me or mine

3) I understand the taxes of those in the top one percent better than those who are not in that bracket

slave-LOL

I am in the kiss my ass club. meaning I can pretty much do what I want as long as it is not illegal

I am not dependent on others for my sustenance

Aesop's tailless foxes are funny

Congrats!! It must be a wonderful thing to see all that you worked hard for come to a full circle to some extent. Congrats as that is major cool:)

So Kali we want your explanation of what is a fair share of the federal income tax and death tax of the group that makes 22 percent of the income yet pays 40% of the federal income tax bill and almost all the death taxes

Do you love it all those turtles that get caught out in the middle of the road and get ran over? I guess misery does love company, huh? I mean since you had to go there with the fox thing:(
