China is an authoritarian economy.

most importantly it has 100 million capitalist private businesses that compete freely on world markets on basis of price and quality. Here are 3 book with which to begin your education:

"Capitalism With Chinese Characteristics"

"How China Became Capitalist"

In his new book titled Markets over Mao: The rise of private businesses in China, Lardy argues that even though SOEs still enjoy monopoly positions in some key sectors in China, such as energy and telecommunications, their role in the overall economy has diminished significantly over the years.

No they do not. You're either extremely ignorant, or a Russian troll.

The Great Pumpkin doesn't exist. Willing buyers and sellers in unregulated markets exist.

But they are not free markets. They are highly regulated, subsidized, and influenced by political pressure.

Wasn't China's economy authoritarian under Mao when it went nowhere?

They were a closed authoritarian economy under Mao. China is the antithesis of what you've been describing.

Well, some markets are more closely regulated than others, but that's often more out of societal choice than necessity. The trading of cryptocurrencies, for example, while largely enabled thanks to a government-regulated activity (telecommunications), is largely unregulated. We've seen some notable issues, such as theft from exchanges, price bubbles, and market manipulation involving these currencies, but given time I think solutions could be found that didn't involve government.

sure it was, and infinitely freer today. Liberals cant admit that freedom works so always look silly! They look at Cuba/Florida, East/West Germany and say lets copy Cuba and East Germany.

they are 10,000 times freer than they were when libsocialism was starving 60 million to death. 1+1=2

Jawaharlal Nehru India previous prime minister wrote in his book "Glimpse of the World History" about the financial crisis and its dynamics. He mentioned that during 1931-1933, the total amount of coffee destroyed in Brazil was 14 million bags; 132 pound each, the total amount was over 1.848.000.000 pounds which more than enough to provide coffee at a discounted price to the whole of the world population. The plantation owners rather destroy the coffee than sell it at a discounted price regardless of the Great Depression.

The coffee was one commodity among many others that destroyed in large quantities in order to keep the price high. We witness in our current time how retailers like Walmart destroy their excess food products with still valid expiry date instead of donating the items to charities or homeless shelters. The problem of Capitalism neither the distribution as Jawaharlal Nehru wrote in his book nor the production as others may think, but ethics and morals. The principles that Adam Smith established, (laissez-faire) and (The Invisible Hand) were misinterpreted and abused causing damage for the moral principles of a system supposed to secure a balanced world economy.

What I love about your examples is that both are actually government policies :)

The real answer for Capitalism problems could be found in practice more ethics and believe in self-consciousness to do the right thing at the right time.

End

Capitalism is love. If you don't love your workers and customers you go bankrupt. If you doubt it for a second start a business and treat your workers and customers badly. Do you know what will happen?

Under socialism there is no competition so no need to love your customers and workers. This is why socialism starved 120 million to death! Now do you understand?

When Jefferson declared in the passage he did include in his first inaguural that: we are all republicans; we are all federalists." he meant really that the party wars were over; that the Republicans had won;and that the Federalists should fit themselves in...

A.James Reichley "The Life of the Parties"( most thorough look at Party history ever written) Page 52

You are asking me to take your word that this author is credible, however i dont have a need to take quotes because i know the difference between governing structures and parties. You were referring to a party, Jefferson was referring to governing structure and the federalist system that they devised. Jefferson was part of the democratic republican party which turned into the democratic party with Andrew Jackson. The other party was the Whig party after the constitution was established. The Whig party fragmented and the Republican third party was formed with Lincoln. There was only a brief respite from the party wars to which Jefferson refers to.

Tell that to EA and Konami, they still arent dead.

Jefferson and Madison in 1793 according to party names used at time in Congressional Record. Want to bet $10,000?

Do you understand how the republican party came about or not?

The closest thing to free markets involves cryptocurrency, but is an actual market for goods. Online dark web sites, most famous being the FBI seized Silk Road, operate outside the realm of government... because most of the things sold on these markets is illegal (drugs mostly).

Crypto mining was banned in China because the government subsidizes electricity, and the mining of virtual currency requires lots of processing power. However, it doesn't add to GDP, and therefore the CCP deemed it an unworthy endeavor.

Of course, Jefferson and Madison realized Federalists were for big liberal govt so left Washington Administration to form Republican party. When the won and Jefferson became president Jefferson called it the Second American Revolution. Now you know too!

actually most credible historian to ever write about subject but how would liberal know that?

Here's another:
"In referring to political parties I have adopted the names which the respective parties used in self-designation. Thus the Jeffersonian party has been referred to throughout as the Republican Party. This name came into use early in the 1790's among persons who considered themselves of a common political "interest", and the term "Republican interest" was generally used until it was replaced by the more definite "Republican Party".

more trivia because the liberal cant debate substance!!

China is currently an authoritarian surveillance state that makes the patriot act era America look like a a haven for privacy by comparison. China uses social currency which is totally meted out by the state. Hong Kong, however is a different story.

Socialism is antithetical to liberalism. The most left you will get with a liberal is a social democrat.

EA got awards for worst company of the year yet they are still alive and kicking. Konami still abuses the workers to an extreme degree, though i think that may be because of the close knit Kiretsu system.
