The price of gas depends on ???

President Obama wants Congress to chop $3.6 billion in 2012 oil and gas tax breaks for a total of $46.2 billion over the next decade.

Try using numbers that already exist, not future projections. Future stuff is so easily manipulated by propagandists.

The US throws far more money down the drain on Green crap than any other country on the planet, geez, you don't know this do you.

I don't try to keep up with things you make up out of thin air. In fact, myself and others have already provided sources that show China's investment in AE dwarfs that of the US

Some of the most expensive "energy" in the world is in the Netherlands. Here is their alternative forms of transportation:

What I asked was:

"Got a link to this requirement that is "Forcing everyone, but the rich, to ride bicycles"???"

You have provided no numbers of the sort. You've thrown some propaganda link at me and that's about all.

From your source:

"The Netherlands has a capitalist market-based economy, ranking 13th of 157 countries according to the Index of Economic Freedom.[12] In May 2011, the Netherlands was ranked as the "happiest" country according to results published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development."

"The Netherlands has a very strong economy and has been playing a special role in the European economy for many centuries." "The Netherlands is one of the world's 10 leading exporting countries."

While interesting, there is nothing here about your claim of a requirement that is "Forcing everyone, but the rich, to ride bicycles."

Here's more authoritative documentation:

"China has climbed to its highest ever score in the All renewables index, reaching the level the US held in Q3 2007. This is principally due to China diversifying its renewables portfolio through an increased focus on offshore wind and CSP. This broadening scope as new technologies become commercially viable illustrates a key trend. Examples featured in this issue include offshore wind in Taiwan, UK and the Nordics, with CSP in Morocco, US and India.

The US remains in second position. Although President Obama has voiced his support for renewable energy, significant Republican opposition in Congress is causing a stalemate. Utility scale solar projects currently appear to be immune to this uncertainty, but lack of liquidity in power offtake arrangements remain the major barrier to new utility scale wind projects, particularly in light of the continued suppression of gas prices in the US."

"Ernst & Young was ranked the leading project finance advisor in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa between 2001 and 2010 by Project Finance International"

Mmmm, no.

The US taxing American citizens to waste money on windmills, and then buying them from China is not "China marching ahead on renewals."

China isn't blowing their own tax money on renewables, they are manufacturing it for suckers in America/Europe.

But only the rich can afford vehicles, everyone else rides bikes.

That's just lame..... You've been proven wrong, whether you choose to own up to it or not.

AAAAAAAAAH! Wrong. China is not wasting their own tax money on windmills they are just manufacturing them for America/Europe just like they manufacture toys.

This is China's energy consumption:

I'm sure there's public transportation for the non-rich Netherlander'leese, but other then that they have their top of the line bicycles.

Where is your source that only the rich can afford cars in the Netherlands???? You do realize that the standard of living is higher in the Netherlands for the average person than it is in the US, do you not?

Could it be that many ride bikes in the Netherlands because it makes more sense to them?

Wow apparently it does take a rocket scientist to figure out that if the average car/gas is expensive, only the rich can afford them.

See, there you go again assuming everything American is bad, and everyone else is good.

Average Per Capital income is $6,000 higher in the US.

Nice strawman you have there.

My proven claim was that China has invested more government money into AE than the US.

Really? Then where are the big Chinese windmill farms pumping out the Watts?

China is building 1 new coal power plant every week or month.

You have not proven that to be the case in the Netherlands. You have only provided your opinion. Why are they so happy if they are forced to ride bicycles due the cost of cars and gas?

Why would someone be happy to have to ride bicycles cause a car is too expensive?

The enviro-Nazi left wants you people to live with less, the baby-eating anarcho-capitalist right wants you people to live with less. And the difference between these 2 groups is what again?

The result is the same, you people will live with less.

Exactly why your wild claim doesn't make any sense.

People with a concern for our future economy understand it is not sustainable for the the US to continue to consume 25% of the earth's resources. As the rest of the world is developing and also using more of the earth's resources, we no longer have the luxury to be short sighted about how we will power our economy in the future.

Why would someone be happy to have to ride bicycles cause a car is too expensive?

As your own source made clear, that is why your wild claim fails.
